If a user's search matched the keywords in the title of my last post, they would find my content on proofofbrain.io as the first result. Great because my content is visible on google, but sad because I would hope to increase views on #inleo and be able to compete on #leoads. We must work on INLEO's SEO so that we can be more visible on the web.

Do you agree? #feedback

We have an update for SEO in the works right now that should make the content even more friendly to outside search engines

One problem is that these other Hive UIs attempt to steal canonical authority from us, so google crawlers get confused who owns the content

We may have a workaround

I hope they find the solution, it is very important for the leads system. I do this not as a criticism but as an informational one. I think it is good to be informed about these details. I try to help as much as I can.

Google are just cunts... Nothing is black and white.

Even if a version has its canonical set to inleo.io, Google don't HAVE to index that version.

Google say that canonicals are 'just a guide' and technically just like any other back link.

So if their algo thinks the other domain is better, they will just index that.

...which is why we have problems with our brand new and somewhat unreliable domain.

Pob and most of the cookie-cutter front-ends do have their canonicals set properly.

The issue with Google ranking other versions is just that the inleo.io domain is very weak.

Over time and if you continue to implement a few tech changes, the domain will improve.

As authors, all we can do is keep internally linking to the inleo.io versions of our posts in future pieces.

This will continue to tell Google that they should change to index that version but ultimately we're at their mercy.

You're right, everything is very early. Little by little this positioning will be achieved.

I have a few suggestions too in this regard let me DM them to you
