Very cool to see you supporting @bradleyarrow and the BBH project! I don't know if I feel the same way you do about building influence on HIVE. I always considered you an influential Hive citizen. If you wrote or talked about your stance on something, I'd listen. So you already had influence.
I've also seen a bunch of active, hard-core orcas around here and even though I'm not officially an orca just yet, I already consider myself part of the group. A group that supports decentralization and uses its stake to vote for witnesses, proposals and overall to protect the chain. It takes less than a dozen orcas to push back on a whale vote and more keep joining the ranks all the time.

I wish I could believe that man. And I did for so long. One whale vote decides what gets approved or not here. Multiple whales voting, means it would take an army of orcas lol
There are only 36 whales. As of now 200+ orcas and counting. 85% of hiveans are building their (our) stake consistently to join the orca army. See @azircon's definition on KE.
We're still early and on our way to a more decentralized chain.
Plus we miss Crypto Maniacs.
