BTC ATM — Hive

The last time I was in Bucharest, in December last year, when I visited my project there, I also discovered this Bitcoin shop. It's actually a $BTC ATM where you can buy and sell BTC for FIAT. I didn't take any photos of the inside as someone was standing by the ATM and I didn't want to disturb the person. The nice thing about this shop is that it's anonymous because you don't have to show your ID. Romania is also the only country in the EU where you can buy prepaid mobile phone numbers without ID.

I'm glad to see that in some countries it works much easier with crypto. There are other options, like bank accounts, that you can use with crypto, but then you lose the anonymity that is important to many people.

Have you already used a BTC ATM?

The providers are the Poles from https://shitcoins.club/, who have a very large network of BTC ATMs in Europe and South America. The only problem is that they are very expensive, as you can see in the picture below. The difference is very big, but if you need FIAT fast, or think BTC will rise soon, you can use the ATMs. Or simply want to remain anonymous. The operators also make good money from it.

Als ich das letzte Mal in Bukarest war, im Dezember letzten Jahres, als ich mein Projekt dort besuchte, habe ich auch diesen Bitcoin Shop entdeckt. Eigentlich ist es ein $BTC ATM, wo man BTC gegen FIAT kaufen und verkaufen kann. Ich habe keine Fotos von innen gemacht, da jemand am Automaten stand und ich die Person nicht stören wollte. Das Schöne an diesem Laden ist, dass er anonym ist, weil man seinen Ausweis nicht zeigen muss. Rumänien ist auch das einzige Land in der EU, in dem man Prepaid-Handynummer ohne Ausweis kaufen kann.

Ich bin froh zu sehen, dass es in einigen Ländern viel einfacher mit Krypto funktioniert. Es gibt auch andere Möglichkeiten, wie Bankkonten, die man mit Krypto nutzen kann, aber dann verliert man die Anonymität, die für viele Menschen wichtig ist.

Habt ihr schon ein BTC ATM benutzt?

Die Anbieter sind die Polen von https://shitcoins.club/, die ein sehr großes Netzwerk von BTC ATMs in Europa und Südamerika haben. Das einzige Problem ist, dass sie sehr teuer sind, wie man auf dem Bild unten sehen kann. Der Unterschied ist sehr groß, aber wer schnell FIAT braucht, oder denkt, dass BTC bald steigen wird, kann die ATMs benutzen. Oder einfach anonym bleiben will. Die Betreiber verdienen auch gut daran.
