the theme for today's #februaryinleo, the initiative for increasing the interaction and the quality of posts, is about a new play to earn or an update to a current one, which falls under the #funfriday.
Well, you might have seen a lot of posts with Splinterlands, or other games presented in here. Today, I want to switch to another chain, namely to $MATIC, to present you a play to earn game called Striker Manager 3. It is a football manager, a quite good one.

I got introduced to the game by @bronko, who is rocking the game.
It is a play to win, as no necessary investment is needed for the start, one can directly sign-up and play. A team will be handed over to you, which might contain some good players.
Here below you can see my current team, which is playing in the 5th division, and with the squad below, can promote to the 4th, easily. 80% of the squad was present at the start of the game, and I just bought some better players to not having any issues in the game.
The tutorial missions are quite good, and you should do it, as you get capital for the start. This capital is the in game currency, which can't be traded outside. This is a good thing, as people will drop it.
On the last mission of the tutorial, you can choose where to set your sport city. Here you need to pay attention, to selected one with a low rent, but still with some better rating, which can be seen on the right side, in the plot details. The best talent you can find in South America, even if the economy is weaker than in other regions. Here you can click any plot, even with a building, as some can be rented, as the team that was there, moved out. Just spend here more time in checking.
Remember, till here everything is free, you even get money to develop your base. Now comes the part where you can pay and accelerate the growth, but you don't have to. You can reach higher leagues, without paying a dime. You can buy plots, with FIAT or $MATIC. Price can vary from $5 to $50000, depending on the plot, the stats and what was build there. You can buy plots of other players, and the rent they pay, comes to you, which helps to grow your team.
Good players can be tokenized, and after be sold for FIAT or $MATIC. Here comes the play to earn part, the better your base is, your academy, the higher the chances to have good players, that can be sold for a good chunk of money.
The team is very open to improvements, helps with issues and tries to get back to the players' feedback, even if they don't invest in Striker Manager 3. The team is focused on the game play, which is good. There are more WEB2 players than WEB3, and the WEB2 have their fair share of fun, bringing in FIAT.
