RE: Rune Chameleon

in LeoFinance3 years ago

I use XDEFI wallet with ThorChain. It is developing alongside ThorChain development which means that all chains supported on ThorChain are also supported on XDEFI. It doesn't play well with metamask so I have to shut one off to use the other... but that's a small price to pay to seamlessly move in and out of all of the assets on Thorchain with the push of a button.

I hope that people with more Hivepower than me are listening to you with regards to AMM and Hive going more DeFi. We would pull a Solana (or Terra), soon Fantom, Polygon, and Cosmos... surprise, all huge in DeFi. Who doesn't want to 100x here? I guess the old school still likes pretending that blogging and curation is the most important thing going on on Hive. The LEO/RUNE pair will be both amazing and a huge wake up call.

Yea I was playing around with this as well and I just gave up on XDEFI because I use metamask too often.

The keystore option is also cool, and I'm sure I could just install XDEFI on Brave or something to keep the two separated.
Still it's annoying have to use two wallets.
And when you transfer Rune to something else you don't even have to be connected to that asset.
Only if you try to transfer the something else to rune do you need the private key.
Pretty wild.

Same, XDEFI wallet is a pain in the arse. If you have ETH or ERC20s on XDEFI and connect to THorSwap it will connect all your XDEFI chains, EXCEPT, it will connect to your Metamask for ETH and ERC20s. Spent more hours than I'd like to admit trying to make access my XDEFI ETH tokens.

Would that be an issue if you didn't have a Metamask? Asking for a friend...

Actually, you can tell your friend that if you don't have a Metamask wallet then XDEFI wallet should run quite smoothly ;)
