Just as a thought, while the Middle East conflict will no doubt rumble on, I don't think it'll be worse if Trump is elected (which may be unlikely, considering that $61Bn of US aid to Ukraine means $6.1 Bn flows straight into the Democrat election fund).
Bear in mind that Trump was behind the Abraham Accords, which were a significant first step to a wider peace. He should have got a Nobel Peace Prize for that.
I have a feeling that his anti-Iran stance was primarily driven by advice from bad actors like Bolton. Chinese efforts to stabilise their oil supply chain, while selfish, have made a start normalising relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Again, not perfect but a start.
My own personal belief is that if Trump avoided bad advisors and went to Iran with the same "make a deal" attitude that he used with North Korea, peace might still be possible. If Israel and Iran could come to an agreement (to at least stop shooting at each other !) it could make room for wider negotiations.
The Middle East is complex, but pragmatism from regional powers combined with less outside interference could just bring us peace there. The Military-Industrial Complex would hate that !
Oh, the military industrial complex would definitely hate that…
I doubt the Iran Israel conflict will end anytime soon.
I do believe though that Trump will get elected.
