It's Saturday again already ! That means it's time for my #saturdaysavers update 😀
If it's disjointed, it's because I'm alternating between writing a bit of post and trying to get the loganberries in the garden under control.... it's like wrestling triffids.

Note that the week 39 figures covered a 2-week span, so should be halved to get a more realistic comparison.
How Did The Week Go ?
It was a pretty good week ! For the first time in ages I've managed to keep my posting rate up enough that I might just get a Weekly Author reward on Hivebuzz.
The actual rewards won't appear for another week or so, of course, but that's nice because it means I should have a decent amount stacked up for the near future.
HP earnings last week were 23.699, which isn't bad for a week where I didn't post enough. On top of this, Tuesday was HPUD. I powered up 250 HIVE, which definitely helped get the lag in my HP growth closer to being on target. Here's the link to my HPUD post....

After powering up that many HIVE, I also took the opportunity to increase my delegations to @leo.voter and @eds-vote - they are both getting close to the goal for the year, and once they get there I'll probably stop adding to them for a bit and focus on HP growth to improve my vote power a bit more.
With the low price of Hive right now, I'm finding that quite often I need to vote high to make sure the post or comment I'm voting on gets over the 2 cent dust threshold. It's important !
In terms of HBD, I'm well down on the goal. At one point last week the price of HIVE climbed close to trades I've set in HiveDex, which would have bought a few more HBD. But then the real world turned to poo as lots of things all happened economically and geopolitically; everyone sold crypto and stocks and bought gold instead. I wonder if I should have bought oil ?

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.
So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
