Today I am very excited to tell all of you about the village marriage function. Last week, I visited my village to attend my CZN marriage ceremony. In Pakistani culture, weddings last many days. I reached my CZN house on Henna day to attend the Henna function.
The function started in the evening,and all guests arrived at a particular time. A stage was ready for both the groom and bride. Women were sitting on one side applying henna to their hands,
and men were sitting on the other side chatting among themselves. Then, in this function, both the bride and the groom sit together on a sofa on the stage.
After that, everyone comes in turn and applies henna first to the bride and then to the bride, and at the same time, feeds them sweets. And congratulate them on the Mehndi function.
After this, the function comes to an end, and the next day, the Nikah function takes place.
Marriage is very important in Islam
. On this day, Nikah is performed in the presence of all the guests and in the presence of two witnesses and a receiver.
After reading the Nikah, both of them are congratulated on the happiness of the marriage .After Nikkah all guest areserved with special meal.
