This is for those of you who may feel like you’re missing out in regards to the bitcoin/cryptocurrency craze, and don’t know where to start. Here are a few ways you can test the waters without accidentally getting soaked.

DISCLAIMER: This is not financial advice. The following is for entertainment and educational purposes only.

LBC - LBRY Credits Token

If you are a novice in this space, then the most logical thing to do would be to research by reading; listening to podcasts; or to watch videos on the topic.

And if you sign up to watch videos on bitcoin and cryptocurrency here by using my link, you’ll actually earn LBC (LBRY Credits) while you learn. LBC

If you produce video content, you can upload it on here too. And a YouTube channel with over 300 subs, will allow you to sync it and earn that way as well.

Once you have accumulated a nice stash of LBC tokens, you can withdraw them to an exchange and trade them. It may seem like it’s taking a while to collect enough, but if you use your affiliate link, like I have above, you can currently earn eight tokens when someone else completes their sign up process. On the exchange I use, I need to have twenty-eight tokens in order to sell in the LBC-USD market. I currently trade here: HERE

COINBASE

Chances are you expected you would have to invest a little something to get involved in the crypto world, so the best way in for most Americans is through Coinbase. By using this LINK, you and I will both receive ten dollars in Bitcoin after you have traded at least $100 in cryptocurrency.

On Coinbase, you’ll be able to buy your first crypto with USD through your bank. Once you understand a little more about trading, you’ll want to use the pro.coinbase.com exchange to save money on your trades.

Coinbase also has a program, where you can learn and earn a few of the tokens in return. Once they are in your wallet, you are free to trade them as you wish.

HIVE and Associated Communities (Saving the best for last)

Yes, this is currently the best community for staking your intellectual property, but it is also somewhat complicated for the everyday person to get started, but it’s not impossible.

If you’ve been on social media for any time, you have been giving away your creative and intellectual property as a user of the platform. We have all been overpaying platform providers with our precious data, statistics and content, which they instantaneously monetize.

Sure, they deserve something for whatever good or bad environment they provide, and nothing is for free, but we’ve been long overpaying. But, what if you got paid to post and upvote?

The Hive blockchain facilitates several platforms where you can do just that.
** HIVE Onboarding **Referred by: altportal
The best way to start on this platform is to create good content worthy of upvotes, because unless you have “powered up” your account by investing and staking HIVE, your upvotes will only be worth air, at first. But content is king, so spend some time looking around to see which of the communities, you feel most suits your interests.

To increase traffic to your posts, be sure to share them from HIVE to Reddit, Twitter and Facebook. That’s right. Let these established platforms work for you by sending you traffic. Not only may this help your content, but it will promote the community, which benefits everyone involved as more people take part.

When you start earning HIVE and HIVE Dollars for your posts, you’ll be happy to know, they are also traded on many exchanges including Bittrex.

And HIVE is only the beginning. There are a multitude of platforms built on HIVE such as LEO via leofinance.io Check it out. There is a lot of information there too.

In Conclusion:

It may seem tedious and a lot of effort for little return at first, but if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. And in the crypto world, it’s all about collecting coins and tokens for as little investment as possible, to either trade or hodl. Whatever you do, make educated decisions. This is only the tip of the iceberg.
