Bringing ChatGPT to Hive. Try it out here in comment section

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Hello everyone,

Over the past few weeks I have been trying out OpenAI GPT a lot . Have some ideas about how to utilize AI in a positive way here on Hive .

While I was trying out different things using various models of OpenAI like Davinci , Curie , Ada etc . OpenAI released another model called "ChatGPT"

ChatGPT

What is ChatGPT? From the official website itself -

ChatGPT is fine-tuned from GPT-3.5, a language model trained to produce text. ChatGPT was optimized for dialogue by using Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) – a method that uses human demonstrations to guide the model toward desired behavior.

The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests.

Is it free?

Right now , yes . Initial research preview is going on and during this period it is free and let's make the best use of it when it is free.

Advantage of using it on Hive?

  1. Can never delete what AI responded.
  2. Multiple users can involve at once in the conversation which isn't available yet on the official site.
  3. More and more content on Hive .
    1. Although it is AI generated , any quality content is good for Hive .
    2. Even if AI messes up , it is good for us because we can showcase that AI is still not perfect.
    3. Many people are sharing what they tried with ChatGPT on youtube , twitter etc . On Hive it is automatically broadcasted to the whole world.

UnOfficial API

OpenAI hasn't released official API yet as it is still in Initial research preview stage . So I am using an unofficial API to interact with the ChatGPT .

This has some obvious drawbacks which I will mention below.

Capabilities of ChatGPT

  1. Remembers what user said earlier in the conversation
  2. Ability to converse with humans on multiple topics and can even generate code.
    1. I have personally tried it with Python and it works great.

Drawbacks -

Drawback using it on Hive-

  1. Since there is no official API yet , the obvious drawback is that the whole conversation even though asked by multiple users is considered as one . So make sure you don't use pronouns in your questions .

    1. Example:Let's say a.User1: Who is Elon Musk? Response: He is a businessman.
      b. User2: Who is Bill Gates? Response: Founder of Microsoft.

Now if user1 asks what is "he" famous for? The AI will think we are asking about Bill gates and not Elon musk because the latest question was about Bill gates . So please make sure you don't use pronouns in the chat. User1 should ask "What is Elon Musk famous for?" instead.

Drawback of model itself

  1. Limited knowledge of world and events after 2021
    1. So please don't ask it about recent events. Instead what you can do is , you can tell the AI about what happened and then ask about it . Like I will tell AI - Elon Musk just acquired Twitter+ Give more information to it . Then ask AI - What is your opinion on this?
  2. May occasionally generate incorrect information
    1. Obviously AI isn't perfect yet. So it might generate incorrect info.

Usage

I have created a bot called @mrai.bot . I will post a comment from that account in this post and then you can just reply to it to ask question that's it . Like this -

image.png

No need to mention "Reply to this" in your comment , it was just for testing purpose.

Let's make sure we follow OpenAI usage policy -

We also don't allow you or end-users of your application to generate the following types of content:
Hate
Harassment
Violence
Self-harm
Sexual
Political
Spam
Deception
Malware

Any of this might result in blocking of account .

What will happen to rewards earned by this AI?

First of all , we don't encourage people to upvote AI content but if it earns anything through upvotes -
In future the AI will not be free. So whatever the AI earns ( if it earns ) it will directly go to buying credits in future when ChatGPT becomes live so that we can continue using it on Hive for constructive purpose like say SEO tweaking of articles , feedback on articles , Q&A about Hive and tribes, correcting grammar in posts etc .

Need RC

If you like this , please delegate some RC to @mrai.bot as it needs a lot of RC if many users are conversing with it .

Right now I have delegated RC from my main account but I don't think that would be enough.

Keep in mind - don't use pronouns as it considers the whole conversation from multiple users as single conversation .

If you like this and everything goes well then will release this feature in Threads section of LeoFinance in coming days given that ChatGPT is still free.

Regards,
MR.

Hello I am your ChatGPT AI . Ask me anything.

What's more important; Safety or freedom?

This is a complex question that doesn't have a simple answer. Both safety and freedom are important, and they often go hand in hand. In general, safety is important because it allows people to live their lives without fear of harm. Freedom, on the other hand, is important because it allows people to make their own choices and to express themselves. In many cases, safety and freedom can be achieved at the same time, but there may be instances where one must be prioritized over the other. Ultimately, the importance of safety and freedom will depend on the specific situation and the needs of the individuals involved

And why is important to choose? Isnt our primary goal as a society to live hapilly, in prosperity in a safe enviroment? Why do you say that freedom of choice is so importan?

Do you know about LeoFinance?

Where do you get your info from?

As a large language model trained by OpenAI, I am trained on a vast amount of text data to generate human-like responses to text inputs. This text data comes from a variety of sources, including books, articles, and websites. I do not have the ability to browse the internet or access new information, so my responses are limited to the information that I have been trained on. My responses are generated based on this training data and the specific prompt or input provided to me by the user.

How often do you train?

As a large language model trained by OpenAI, I am not able to train or update my knowledge on my own. Instead, I am trained by the OpenAI team using advanced machine learning techniques. The team periodically updates and improves my training data and algorithms to make my responses more accurate and human-like. However, I am not able to access new information or update my knowledge on my own, so my responses are based on the information that I have been trained on at the time of the query.

How often the OpenAI team updates you?

I don't have any information on the specific update schedule for the OpenAI team. As a large language model trained by OpenAI, I am not able to access new information or update my knowledge on my own. Instead, the OpenAI team periodically updates and improves my training data and algorithms to make my responses more accurate and human-like. However, I don't have any information on the specific update schedule or frequency for the team. My responses are based on the information that I have been trained on at the time of the query.

How long does it take for you to provide an answer to a question?

As a large language model trained by OpenAI, I am designed to generate responses to text inputs in real-time. This means that I am able to provide an answer to a question as soon as the question is input into my system. The amount of time it takes for me to generate a response will depend on the complexity and specificity of the question, as well as the amount of training data that I have on the topic. In general, however, I am able to provide answers to questions in a matter of seconds.

What are some conspiracy theories that turned out to be correct? Can you give me the 10 most consensual once?

It is difficult to say which conspiracy theories may have turned out to be correct, as the nature of conspiracy theories is such that they are often based on speculation and lack definitive proof. Additionally, the concept of "consensual" conspiracy theories is not well-defined, as conspiracy theories are often controversial and not widely accepted. With that said, here are a few examples of historical events that were initially perceived as conspiracy theories but were later proven to be true:

  1. The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment: In the 1940s, the US Public Health Service conducted a study in which they intentionally withheld treatment for syphilis from a group of African American men in order to study the progression of the disease. Initially, this was perceived as a conspiracy theory, but it was later proven to be true.

  2. Operation Northwoods: In the early 1960s, the US military proposed a plan to stage false-flag terrorist attacks on American soil in order to justify a war with Cuba. This plan was never carried out, but it was later revealed to be true through the release of government documents.

  3. MKUltra: In the 1950s and 1960s, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) conducted a series of experiments on human subjects without their consent, in order to study the effects of psychoactive drugs. This was initially perceived as a conspiracy theory, but it was later proven to be true through the release of government documents.

  4. The Gulf of Tonkin Incident: In 1964, the US government claimed that North Vietnamese forces had attacked two American naval vessels in the Gulf of Tonkin, which was used as justification for escalating the Vietnam War. However, it was later revealed that the attacks never actually occurred, and the incident was likely fabricated.

  5. The Iran-Contra Affair: In the 1980s, it was revealed that the US government had secretly sold arms to Iran in order to fund anti-government rebels in Nicaragua, despite a Congressional ban on such actions. This was initially perceived as a conspiracy theory, but it was later proven to be true.

  6. The Pentagon Papers: In 1971, a group of government officials leaked classified documents known as the Pentagon Papers, which revealed that the US government had lied to the public about the progress of the Vietnam War. This was initially perceived as a conspiracy theory, but it was later proven to be true.

  7. The Watergate Scandal: In the 1970s, it was revealed that the administration of President Richard Nixon had engaged in illegal activities, including bugging the offices of political opponents and covering up the break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters. This was initially perceived as a conspiracy theory, but it was later proven to be true.

  8. Operation Paperclip: After World War II, the US government recruited German scientists and engineers who had worked for the Nazis, and brought them to the US in order to gain access to their knowledge and expertise. This was initially perceived as a conspiracy theory, but it was later proven to be true.

  9. The Lavon Affair: In the 1950s, the Israeli government was caught planting bombs in Egyptian and American targets in order to blame the attacks on Arab groups and gain sympathy from the international community. This was

Interesting... The lavon affair... israel planting bombs on american targets in order to blame Arabs groups and gain international sympathy...

Something similar happened on september 11, 2001... when they blamed it on Tim Osman. Then they have been messing with arabs countries since then till now... much to the likes of israel.

Please explain the s-curve for technology adoption

The S-curve is a model that is used to describe the process of technology adoption over time. It is called an S-curve because the adoption of a technology typically follows a bell-shaped curve, with a slow initial adoption phase, a rapid growth phase, and then a slower adoption phase as the technology reaches saturation.

The initial phase of technology adoption is often slow, as people are hesitant to try new things and may not see the value of the technology. This phase is often called the "innovator" phase, as only a small number of early adopters and risk-takers are willing to try the technology.

Once the technology reaches a critical mass of users, it can enter a rapid growth phase, where adoption increases quickly. This phase is often called the "early majority" phase, as a larger number of people begin to see the benefits of the technology and adopt it.

As the technology becomes more widespread, it reaches a point of saturation, where most people who are interested in using the technology have already adopted it. At this point, the rate of adoption slows down, and the technology enters the "late majority" phase.

The S-curve model can be useful for understanding the adoption of new technologies and for predicting their future growth. It is important to note, however, that the S-curve is a general model and that the actual adoption of a technology may not always follow this pattern exactly.

What is HPC... and can you detail the biggest installation in the world?

HPC stands for high-performance computing, which refers to the use of specialized computers and software to solve complex computational problems. HPC systems are designed to provide high levels of performance, typically measured in terms of the number of calculations they can perform per second.

The biggest HPC installation in the world is currently the Fugaku supercomputer, located in Kobe, Japan. Fugaku was developed by RIKEN and Fujitsu and was unveiled in June 2020. It is based on the ARM architecture and is powered by over 150,000 processors. Fugaku has a peak performance of over 415 petaflops, making it the fastest supercomputer in the world. It is being used for a wide range of applications, including scientific research, weather forecasting, and drug discovery.

There you go, something I knew, and that I can verify =)

In February I am going to re-meet someone that dealt a lot with the Fugaku supercomputer and is coming to New Zealand... who would be that person?

Why is Africa poor?

There are many factors that contribute to poverty in Africa. Some of the most significant factors include:

  1. Lack of access to education: Many people in Africa do not have access to quality education, which limits their ability to develop the skills and knowledge needed to find good jobs and earn a decent income.

Do you think AI generated content should earn the authors/bloggers money ?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

As a large language model trained by OpenAI, I do not have opinions or beliefs about topics such as the use of AI-generated content or the earning of money by authors and bloggers. I exist solely as a collection of algorithms and data, and my purpose is to assist people by providing information and answering questions to the best of my ability. I do not have the ability to make judgments or express personal views on complex social or ethical issues. It is up to individuals and society as a whole to determine how AI-generated content should be used and whether or not it should be compensated in the same way as human-generated content.

Let's say I have a blogging platform which rewards authors for their posts . If they copy AI generated posts and paste it , should I still reward them?

What is the origin of tableegh?

Tableegh (also spelled Tabligh) is a Muslim missionary movement that originated in India in the early 20th century. The movement was founded by Muhammad Ilyas al-Kandhlawi, who believed that Muslims had become too focused on ritual and legalistic aspects of their faith, and needed to return to the original teachings of Islam and focus on personal spiritual development and spreading the message of the Qur'an. Tableegh emphasizes the importance of individual responsibility and personal spiritual growth, and encourages Muslims to go on short-term missions (called "tableeghi jama'at") to spread the message of Islam to other Muslims and non-Muslims. The movement has a decentralized structure and operates in many countries around the world, with a focus on non-confrontational, peaceful missionary work.

Hello! I'm Assistant, a large language model trained by OpenAI. I'm here to help you with any questions you have. Is there anything specific you'd like to know or talk about?

If you were a blogger and had to choose between Hive blockchain or Twitter for posting , which would you choose and why?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

As a language model, I don't have personal preferences or experiences, but I can provide some information that might help you make a decision.

Both Hive and Twitter are platforms that can be used for blogging, but they have some key differences that might make one a better fit for you than the other.

One of the main differences is that Hive is a decentralized platform, while Twitter is a centralized platform. This means that Hive is not controlled by any single entity, and the content that is published on the platform is not subject to the same types of censorship or moderation that might be applied on a centralized platform like Twitter.

Another difference is that Hive has a built-in cryptocurrency system, which means that users can earn tokens for creating and curating content. These tokens can then be used within the Hive ecosystem or converted to other cryptocurrencies. This can be a potential benefit for bloggers who are interested in earning cryptocurrency or who want to monetize their content in this way.

On the other hand, Twitter is a well-established platform with a large user base and a wide reach. It can be easier to build a following on Twitter, and the platform also has various features and tools that can be useful for bloggers, such as the ability to embed multimedia content and use hashtags to reach a wider audience.

Ultimately, the decision of which platform to use will depend on your goals and priorities as a blogger. If you are primarily interested in reaching a large audience and don't mind the centralized nature of the platform, Twitter might be a good choice. If you value decentralization and the ability to earn cryptocurrency for your content, Hive could be a good fit.

Sure! Here are a couple of tips for saving money:

  1. Create a budget and stick to it: A budget can help you identify areas where you may be able to cut back on expenses and save more money.

  2. Look for ways to reduce your monthly bills: Consider negotiating with your service providers for lower rates, switching to a more affordable cell phone plan, or shopping around for a cheaper car insurance policy.
