I think it's because of low reputation, when I created an account for my bot @reminder.ping, it took a few upvotes before its comments actually started appearning in my notification.

Yes, it's for reputation, as for notifications, I also use ecency to look and filter, one doesn't miss anything.

Hmm well that isnt good for onboarding. Especially

I think INLEO uses the same notification system as PeakD and it won't show everything, Ecency's notification system is better in my opinion.

Well hopefully they will look into it while doing Threads V2

peakd's notification system is good, ecency's is good too, but for me if there was a combination of the two, it would be the pinnacle of notifications. I really miss the sound it makes when favorites are posted, for example

Can just mention that PeakDs system didnt show the comment in notification either.
I saw it under the activity tab.

Yes, that's because votes of less than $0.02, for example, don't appear, I think there are some other notifications that they filter out, that's good, it doesn't tie us to every notification that sometimes doesn't even make a difference.

Well in this case it just plain stupid. If a new account answers to a comment I left on their thread. I want to know, how will newbies otherwise get any attention?

Hmm... that's strange, if I'm not mistaken any reply appears in my peakd notifications, regardless of whether it's a new account or one with a low reputation. Can you do this test? Do you have a new account? Ask to reply to one of my posts so we can try it out.

Well I already tested it. Help aa friend and their comment didnt show as a notification in my inbox.

Thats why I complained 😅
Feel its unfair to newbies.

Really strange. It didn't appear in any frontend? Neither in peakd nor in inleo? This is something new for me too. If I succeed, I'd like to try it out later if I can find a new account.
