Its basically a layer that supports native swapping between tokens without wrapping them. So many of the exchanges will probably have Thorchain in the background in the end.
Ah i see. And the Rune token is the token of the Thorchain? So the value of it is connected how good Thorchain will go/how many people are interested in it and use it, etc.
What is the rune token about exactly? Can someone explain?

Not excatly, $RUNE is needed to setup Nodes and LP. So the more Thorchain is used the more $RUNE is needed.
@khaleelkazi is the $RUNE expert here
Ahh ok I get it. How long has $RUNE been on the market? How old is it?
Oh dont know actually. Think its like 2017, 2016? 😅
Ok so it´s not a "new shitcoin". That already helps for decision making thank you! =)
I will be DCAing into $RUNE I would already be up 15 % if I would have started a week ago.
Yeah, threw some captial into $RUNE when it was around 2.10.
Thorchain has a bright future
This has always been the case. The FUD really was blown out of proportion.
Yeah, hope it blows over sooner rather than later.
The more the revenue, the more people will want to take part in it by depositing liquidity.
Doing so puts buy pressure on RUNE.
Token price goes up, eventually people will talk about its comeback.
