Here in Europe the UK riots is label as "far-right" riots. I wonder if this type of reporting isnt just goinna create even more division and polarization..

Sort:

Yep. Of course.

Notice how democracy became populism and is something that the "far right" embraces.

Yeah its a disgrace that just because you dont wanna serve the people you deem them as extreme and dangerous thinkers.

Divide and conquer.

That is what they are after...and doing a fairly good job.

It's similar to Germany. Every protest is most likely right-wing extremist they say. Last time some people voted right-wing, the government claimed that people didn't know what they were doing. No mention of people being unhappy with the government.

Thats my take as well. I mean ofc there are some far.rihht people out there, but they make it dishonest by saying all people who doesnt think like them are "far-right" or extreme..

Exactly! Just because I dislike what they are doing, I'm not far right. That's just a stupid argument so they don't need to talk about their shit further.

Excatly, same problem in Sweden that if you dont think like the mainstream you are deemed as problematic. Until they change their mind and pretend that they always hade that view...

It seems to be a worldwide phenomenon. You hear it everywhere.

Its because we have grown a elite political class that has grown. They just want to take care of each other first.

Well they may be encouraged by the 'far right', but some of the participants seem like those who like to get drunk and fight. Some are blatantly racist. In some locations they were outnumbered by anti-fascists, but they are minority anyway.

Sure might be some out for fighting and some might be racist. But judging all people by that standard is dihonest and only increasw poliarization. Otherwise you have to say the same thing about the other protesters as well.

No, you can't generalise, but when they are chanting anti-muslim slogans, burning cars, trying to burn down asylum seeker hostels and attacking police, then you wonder about their motives. Others are peacefully defying them with placards calling out racism. There are militant anti-fascists, but I've yet to hear of them being in action.

This started with the murder of some kids. The guy who did it is not an asylum seeker or a Muslim, but that is who they have been targeting.

Yeah heard that as well that it started because of a rumour. But this was only what enighted the flame, many people in the UK feel unheard and without future. Or so its from the outside at least.
