It makes sense, it counts like a new entrance not actually counting the words. It's indexing a thread under that tag
But when you use it in a reply to your own thread (like a threadstorm), then they each count.

The answer is yes, each time you use the tag in a different thread it counts, it can be a reply or a new thread created from zero #spanish
It's just an index so yeah, and it's a problem with tags like threadstorm when people used in all the threads... now you see all the post spreading without order as a single standing thread
