Wow, I haven't heard the kaboom name in years. Takes me back to some good times with an unbreakable controller.
I agree with the thought that the atari token could attract gen-x-ers.
It certainly caught my eye. It was such a loved brand for so many of us.
We would trust it even if it is on a platform we are uncertain about.
Can't wait to see wait the token will look like....black & red I hope.

I figured a few out there would know about that one. It wasn't one of the biggest for Atari I dont think; not on the level of Pac-Man but I spent hours playing it.
I still can see the gaming cartridges that were plugged into the gaming console.
Speaking of the controller, I was reminded of the Joystick.

Seems odd calling a joystick now....just a tad odd
That thing was unbreakable.
I had one that the black casing came off the joystick. It was a rubber piece that became detached. Eventually lost it so had to use it without.
The joystick would dig into the palm.
