We're thinking of a lite mode, or a rookie mode where most of the stats and noise goes away.
Same for a reading mode when in long form content, no need for the side walls all the time there.

Oh i like this! Kind of unlocks after a certain time frame or level? Keep it simple and clean for users at first and slowly introduce them later could be a nice smooth introduction.
