Long form content will never take the social side of Hive to get adopted
Whether we like it or not, it is short form content that will lure in the masses, and then long form content will serve as a tool to make some of these new users stay

Long form content is too much work. Whether you like it or not but that is a niche.
This is true. Long form has its place, but it's not for everyone.
All article writers can microblog, but not all microbloggers can write articles. That's just a fact. There is room for both kinds of people.
You said it way better than I did.
True. As a newbie, I found thread very exciting. And that made me steady, planning on my long content
Thread is the way ;)
honestly
Yeah 😉
long form contents are for the ones with caliber to lay it consistently.
Short form is the way
Thank you for saying that ;)
Totally agree. What I really, really do hope is that when the masses come, the account creating process is smooth as silk by then. I'm sure the issues/complexity have been a real turn-off for many.
Team working everyday, so fingers crossed Thread will get there SOON ;)
Yeah, fingers crossed. There's no hurry though but when the bull run starts, things are better to be top notch since then the masses are on the move! :)
Short-form video content ala TikTok, thats what we need.
Seconded! Would be amazing to see those features ;)
True. Many of the newbies i brought find threads so exciting. And some continued to do threads for up to a month before doing their first long form post. If Hive is all about long form posts, mass adoption would be elusive.
Agreed
I must admit that I prefer the long form content a bit more.
Well said!
But Thread has this benefit your long form post could enjoy 🤔 (i.e if you’re posting on LeoFinance community) 😉
What do you mean exactly? How can I do that?
I recently shared a link to my post, do you mean I should cut the post into pieces and post it on Threads, or?
Couldn't agree more on it Soul, weather we like it or not, this is a fact.
Pure Facts ;)
Definitely. Short form, easily digestible content will be what catches fire
both works in hand
Maybe the long form side of Hive can be repurposed for those who are used to Substack or Medium. It probably is already, but it hasn't been promoted that way.
There is point in this and I agree with you. When it comes to social, KISS work faster than anything.
Long content is mother.
