El Salvador has already achieved an incredible accomplishment - the financial inclusion of 40% of their population that was previously unbanked and thus completely financially excluded from the world.

The price of BTC is irrelevant if you are using it for remittances and these are quickly spent on living expenses, as is the case for most Salvadorians.

The El Salvador experience is primarily about using BTC as a medium of exchange ( digital cash - Bitcoin's original purpose) not as store of value.

These are great points. And they don't need to pay taxes for using bitcoin.
