Some time ago I wrote about the trick of falling in love with your life and how that is pretty much all anyone needs to successfully live through this life of sin. Once you love yourself, you will learn to show up for yourself with ease. Self love love is a journey, it is not something you wake up and immediately become a master in. It is a gradual non-linear process that requires mindfulness, grace, and constant forgiveness.
One of the many ways to show up for ones self is by getting your money in order. Sadly, we live in a world where you cannot have a decent quality of life without having a stable source of income. I personally think it is crazy that we humans could have been anything else, with an entirely different system of life where we don't have to strive and struggle so much to survive. But no, they had to go and choose capitalism.
That being the case, you have to love your life and care for it enough to want to go the extra mile, to put in those extra hours to reach your goals, to muster the discipline and determination to stick to your budget. Etc. Whatever it takes to get your money up. When you finally come to that point of independence, especially when you have several odds against against you, it is the love you have for your self that will keep you going.
