Have you set your Hive goals for the new year? Setting goals help us stay focused on our ambitions and help prepare our minds for the task before us.
In this post, I'd like to tell you My Hive Goals for the upcoming year. But to show you My Hive Goals for 2023, I'd like to take you into my Hive wallet for a proper assessment of my current situation.
My Hive Wallet

As you can see from my Hive wallet, i have 67.854 Hive Power. I powered-up some Hive tokens in the past, so I have none in the wallet. No HBD, and no Hive savings.
My Leo wallet from LeoFinance
I also have some Leo Tokens but, I have no Leo Power.
My Hive Engine wallet from LeoFinance
As you can see I even have some few Hive Engine tokens that i accumulated from curation rewards.
My Hive Engine tokens are 11 in total. Those with the most noticeable quantity are Leo, CTP, and STEM.
My Hive Goals for 2023
Going by what's in my Hive wallet, I have decided to focus my Hive goals, and eventually, my energy on increasing my Hive Power in the new year.
I will have 1200 Hive Power by December 31, 2023.
My Short-Term Hive Goals and Strategies
Hive Power-Up Challenges
The number one strategy I want to apply in increasing my Hive Power is to participate in the upcoming Hive Power-Up challenges. Because boosting my Hive Power is going to boost my influence on the Hive blockchain.
Hive Power-Up Day I will Power-Up at least 10 Hive and make a PUD post on the first day of every month as part of my entry into the monthly Hive Power-Up Day.
Hive Power-Up Month I will Power Up at least 1 Hive per day and make at least one short post on D.Buzz or LeoThreads, to participate in HPUMs in all 12 months of 2023.
Hive Power-Up Helper I will help a new account with at least 10 Hive Power to earn the Hive Power-Up Helper badge, at least once in 2023.
Posts and Curation
I'll not rely on my author and curation rewards as part of my strategy of attaining 1k Hive Power since my earnings are negligible for now. However, I will strive hard increase my posting frequency to at least 1 long post per week. I will also make 1 short post on D.Buzz or LeoThreads per day.
I will curate at least 10 posts every day.
Market Buys
Buying more Hive tokens to boost my goals as a rainy season strategy.
Progress Reports
I will track and provide weekly updates every Sunday, and monthly progress updates on the 3rd day of every month to ensure my commitment.
Vision Board
I will have a digital Vision Board by January 2, 2023 to serve as a means of motivation and to remind me of my target.

Yes, I was waiting to see if they reach an appreciable amount before powering them up. I guess I'll just power them up immediately since I don't need them now.

Yeah, you can power up with smaller amounts too. More LP = more curation rewards.
