There are plenty of younger stars... and people are consuming media at such an incredible rate that so many movies are being made then when Sty and Arnie were pumping out blockbusters.
I have no doubt AI will help improve workflows...and hopefully will lower the barrier to entry so that we see a lot more experimental films, but I really do think people love movies because of the story, emotional connection to characters and experience - and for that reason I think Hollywood is not in any danger of disappearing at all.
Movies arent going to disappear but it is going to move away from Hollywood. This is what technology does. Notice how much news is now made outside epicenter of the major news outlets.
As for the stars, how many of them are must see?
Ultimately I think it's good for people outside of Hollywood to make more movies and tell different other stories. I don't personally think Hollywood is in danger of losing out too much because it still has access to all the capital to make big movies. I'm sure you've noticed the hundreds of names and wildly different professions in the credits of a movie, and I just don't think AI will replace all of those experienced professionals.
Honestly I hope we move away from "Gotta see Tom Cruise's latest movie" to "Gotta see this latest movie, the story is incredible."
