Dogecoin founder called out to Elon Musk: 'take him to the Moon'
The Dogecoin community uses the term" moon landing " to refer to predictions that the price of the cryptocurrency will rise. But the creator of the cryptocurrency expressed this as a real demand.

Billy Markus, co-founder of Dogecoin, spoke to Newsweek, saying, "it's really amazing to have an ally like Elon Musk. I think it would be really great if he sent Dogecoin to the moon with one of his rockets, " he said.:

I appreciate Elon Musk's support for Dogecoin and his fun with it. I hope that is the attitude of everyone who wants to support a currency that is made up of MIM.

Markus, 38, who lives in the US, started the Dogecoin project in late 2013, partnering with software engineer Jackson Palmer.

In fact, the Dogecoin project started with a joke, unlike other cryptocurrencies. The project, which used an open-source software known as Litecoin, was a parody of its more serious rivals, such as Bitcoin.

Since its founding, Dogecoin, on the other hand, has created its own subculture and has had many celebrity fans. The currency has expanded its fan base following posts from the social media accounts of Elon Musk, as well as rapper Snoop Dogg and rock star Gene Simmons.

"Dogecoin is the people's cryptocurrency," Musk, the tech billionaire, wrote on his Twitter account on February 4th. Musk's last tweet about Dogecoin was on March 1. In this exchange, the flag of the currency and the dog icon that gave it popularity were pictured on the Moon.
