Friday, the Internet retail company, Amazon, instructed its employees to remove the "Short Talk" video app from their phones "instantly" due to its security risk.

On Friday morning, company employees received an email, in which Amazon said that "due to security risks, the Tik Tok application is no longer allowed on mobile devices, which can access Amazon email," according to CNN.  .

The company’s message to its employees said, “Access to Tik Tok, from the company's laptop computers, is still permitted, but it will be interrupted via mobile phones connected to the company’s email, unless the application is removed.”

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request by CNN to comment on the decision.

A spokesman for Tik Tok, in a statement, said that Amazon "did not contact us before sending its email to its employees, and we still do not understand their concerns."

"We welcome dialogue so that we can address any issues they may have, and enable their team to continue to participate in our community ... We are proud that tens of millions of Americans turn to Tik Tok for entertainment, inspiration and communication, including many Amazon employees and contractors who have been on  The front lines of the Corona epidemic. "

This is the biggest warning a giant company has issued to its employees so far, fearing it would pose a potential security risk, after US politicians claim that the application could undermine national security by looking at its ties with China.
