Someone just getting started in the crypto world might wonder what can be the perfect way to earn here. Last week I was having a conversation with one of my friends. He was curious about how to make money in the crypto world. I told him that more than 95 percent of cryptocurrency projects are a scam, and it is very important to pick a legitimate option and try to earn from it.
This might be a topic that would have been discussed several times in the past but it is still one of the top searches in Google and people are curious to know how they can earn in the crypto world. In this article, I'm going to talk about a few legitimate options to earn some money in the crypto world. Some of these options are very good and can provide a good long-term income.
Earning from blogging
When I started in the crypto world, I ended up in a place where I could earn some crypto by blogging. Today Hive is such a wonderful place where you can share your thoughts and earn some decent amount of money for the same. I'm not sure if there are any other good platforms available where you can earn money from blogging.

People would like to switch from centralized finance to decentralized finance. One of the best options for that is to invest in HBD and earn a decent 15 percent APR from the investment. I'm sure this is the best thing to do because all other investments might ask you for your KYC but investing directly on chain doesn't require your KYC and provides a better yield.
Operating a blockchain node
Operating a blockchain node can be a profitable thing. On some chains, this is also called a validator node. People get paid when they receive higher votes on their node and if they rank up in the competition. Operating a blockchain node also comes with a lot of learning curve helping us learn more things about the tech stack and resource effectiveness.
Earning from Play2Earn games
Earning by playing games is still a thing in 2025 I would say because there are still a few games that are hardly surviving and even doing very well for its players. Playing a game that is not just for fun but also for earning is a new trend and this trend will keep growing in the years to come and there will be more investors in this category building some amazing things.
Trading in the crypto markets
Last but not least, it is a wonderful thing to trade in the crypto markets. If we can make some good calls on the price of Crypto, we can do some trading in the market and earn cryptocurrencies. The advantage we have with crypto trading is that it can be done 24/7 and it can also be done in a decentralized manner where we don't have to disclose our identity to anyone.

Anyone interested in entering this field should be careful, do their own research, and not invest more than they can afford to lose.
Out of the 5 suggested methods, I am still on 1 and that too without consistency. Maybe that's the reason my wallet is so dry. 😆
I may never try the Validator nodes, but I sure can give tries to the remaining things. ❤️☮️
