It is unfortunate to see the price of Hive going down continuously. It is an unexpected thing because we expect the market to pump after the Bitcoin halving event but the pumping has not started yet. The price of Bitcoin alone was pretty much stable but the other altcoins are bleeding. The altcoins are drastically decreasing for a slight change in the price of BTC. I don't understand the logic behind this because when there is an upward trend for Bitcoin there is no big movement in the price of altcoins but if there is a slight downtrend for Bitcoin, the altcoins are having a serious hit.
In the last two weeks, the price of Hive has gone down by almost 10 cents which is a huge fall. I never imagined the price would get as low as 20 cents. Now people are starting to think that Hive getting back to 50 cents itself can be a big deal and may not happen. But seeing Hive and how crypto has worked for several years, I have a feeling that the market will recover back and Hive can see a great improvement in the value and who knows it might as well see a new all-time high. But currently, I think we are stuck here for some more time.
Last time I remember the price of Hive was around 19 cents for a very long time and I remember Hive going down as low as 11 cents and that also lasted for a while. Even then people did not lose hope. I guess now the price is only 20 cents and no wonder the price can even go further down to 15 cents but from what I see it is only a great investment opportunity. Not just Hive but many coins that have a dependency on South Korean exchanges can have this problem. This article talks about this problem.
Best time to invest
For people who would like to enter the crypto world can enter right now because the price of many altcoins are very low at the moment. Some altcoins are holding their value despite the bear market but Hive is not having a fun time right now. Imagine people entering Hive at 20 cents now and after the market recovers if the price reaches 1$ again, it will be 5 times profit for the investors buying Hive right now.
People shouldn't stop writing as the price of Hive is low right now. We have to understand that we will be able to accumulate more Hive now because of the price of Hive. With 20 cents, we can get almost 4 Hive for a dollar which is huge and even if the price recovers and goes above 50 cents, it is a huge profit for any investor.
Strong reasons why Hive won't fall
Even if the market is very bad at the moment, I think Hive is not a complete failure. Sometimes I used to compare Hive with Steem and used to wonder why Hive hasn't gone up far from Steem. The one biggest shame I see is the fact that the price of Steem and Hive are both somewhat similar. Despite having a better blockchain for many years, we have not managed to improve and go higher than the price of Steem which is mostly centralized. Even though we have so many things in Hive that can act like a selling point, we are unable to grow or get better with the price.
Even though my thoughts go in that direction, I always think that there will be one fine day when Hive might see a drastic pump and all the investors who were holding tight might see good fortune on that day. People will continue to build amazing things on top of Hive. Already there are a few solid projects on Hive that are trying to grow big. Splinterlands being one of the strongest pillars for Hive, I don't think Hive will fall.

For real brother it's too frustrating to see Hive dropping so much, but I think it’s just temporary dippings. Long-term potential still looks good, and this could be a great buying opportunity before the market bounces back. I'm working way harder on Hive at this point

The downtrend presents opportunity. I believe there will be a resistance at the $0.20 dollar price mark.

I don't buy Hive, I earn it, so for those that do buy it, now would be a great time. The main issue is the low liquidity on centralized measured exchanges. I mean we have low liquidity on the internal markets too, so really that's the problem. It's all about supply and demand.
No problem seeing price drop. Let it stay in that level for a while as an opportunity to increase our HP.
