I came back from vacation and since then my health is not very great. I feel very lazy and don't feel like doing any work at all. But I have a lot of work pending and to be done. Apart from this laziness, I'm also having some serious cold issues and running nose issues. One of the biggest reasons would be because I took bath in cold water during my vacation and also did not care much to drink proper water. The change in water can also be the cause for this. My throat got affected first and then I started getting cold. Now I'm also having a slight head ache too.
Dehydration
I was wondering if dehyderation can be one of the reasons why I get running nose problems. I'm very poor when it comes to drinking enough water. I find it hard to drink water with a routine. I don't have the best practice I should say. In the last week, I was not focusing on drinking water at all and as I was travelling, I did not have access to good water and I was lazy to take some efforts to drink some water.
Now after coming back home, even though I have been drinking enough water, something makes me feel that the water consumption is not sufficient. It is very weird to see how our body reacts to dehydration. Already our body is lacking water and it triggers running nose where more water comes out of the nose.
I tell this as a reason because I have seen my running nose issue getting settled if I drink enough water during the day. When I usually wake up in the morning I have this issue and I start sneezing multiple times and gradually if I increase my water intake during the day time, the problem settles down. During the evening, the running nose usually goes away.
Adequate sleep
During my travel I did not have enough time to sleep properly. I have noticed that if we don't give time for the body to repair, it acts weird. Sleep is the time when our body does the repair work. If we are not giving enough rest to the the body in the form of sleep, then again I usually get running nose the next day. It says as it is until I have a good sleep again. It usually goes away if I have a good sleep in the night. Sleeping during the day time is not helping much.
The above are the few things that I have observed so far when I have running nose problems. Maybe these things can help someone. Mostly drinking enough water was the biggest problem for me and that solves most of the issues.

Inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water or a warm shower can help loosen mucus and relieve nasal passages. Get well soon !!
When you have a cold, it's best to drink a lot of water. It will automatically stop your runny nose, and I still wonder why that happens.
