Uselessness.

Yesterday during the blackout I asked my daughter to give me her sketchbook, since my sketchbook had already run out of blank sheets of paper and I wanted to while away this time without electricity and do something useful for example draw something especially since I haven’t drawn for a long time.

My daughter brought me an album and looking at it I saw that its format was very different from the one I was used to it was half the size.

Having turned the sketchbook page in front of me, thinking about what I should draw I still did not come to a single opinion and decided to postpone this matter until the moment when I buy the paper format that in my opinion inspires me to work.

Uselessness yes that’s exactly what my daughter’s sketchbook turned out to be for me although it has blank paper of good quality on which I could draw something but something did not work out.

So, many things at a certain time and under certain circumstances become useless for us.

Not only things but also people can feel useless helpless and some consider this as a verdict but in fact this is just such a useless period similar to our waiting time at a pedestrian crossing when the red light of the traffic light warns us of the danger of continuing to move and we need to wait until the green light lights up for the pedestrian.

Even the season of the year can turn out to be useless if, for example it is winter now and I decided to go look for mushrooms in the forest but even here everything is not so simple because there are also winter mushrooms lol.

Someone will confidently claim that woody tree mushrooms are useless but here too this statement is very controversial because simply put we may have no idea about their possible use... for example for a beekeeper, such a mushroom is very useful it is this mushroom that is lit in a smoker to curb the aggression of bees.

A mushroom that did not have time to grow to the desired size and was met by frosts may be useless, but knowing where it grows, you just need to wait a year and come to the same place and the probability that you will fill the freezer with a good amount of mushrooms will be very high.

Even water which in some cases is the most valuable acquisition for example in the desert sometimes hangs completely uselessly on tree branches in the form of icicles.

When someone talks about the uselessness of something or someone then as a rule they do not consider this in some time frame, but immediately chop off the shoulder.

They also say that haste in most cases except for catching fleas is absolutely useless but since today we are promised another blackout we have to hurry to try to extract at least some benefit from our work lol.
