Nice to see when curation works well, most of it does, and helping your friend understand is more important than the curation he received. He has learned from you, and with the curation may stay and be a community member for a few years to come, and that makes us all winner because of your efforts.
Yes, thank you. I let him know right from the beginning how important growing your account via curation and engagement is. I notice he got a downvote so I will probably discuss that with him tomorrow. Just so he understands it isn't personal.
Yeah the to much reward down votes really sucks. Who knows maybe one day instead of appearing to punish the Author the person that gave to much will have his portion of curation removed and the author would still get his full reward as given by the people.
That would be an interesting metric.
