This last big rain and wind event we had dumped a lot of snow above the 5000 foot mark. We had a six hour power outage from six downed lines, so a little long for us outage wise, but still better than the rest of America gets when the power goes out. When I used to watch TV I saw a lot of the different survival shows, and yeah dig a hole in the frozen lake ice to fish, and scrape the snow away to get the last of the ground berries in the meadow areas. There are always frozen blueberries, lingonberries, cranberries and crow berries to add sugars to the diet and make the fish taste better.
Lots of hidden food in Alaska during the winter, one just needs to know how to find it. I don't watch much TV anymore and I discord even less than I watch TV. But thanks for the offer.
