This week was the designated graduation day for elementary school students in our city.Graduates and their parents gathered in the auditorium of each school for the final ceremony to bid farewell to six years of study at their respective elementary schools.
Our family was no different as we too joined the marking of this educational milestone with our older son and his classmates 🏫.The ceremony, the picture taking, exchanging of gifts and general expression of appreciation afterwords was extremely rewarding.
Interestingly enough, some of the graduates went back to the daycare they started in to see their caregivers and have a kind of reunion. I think it's a great way to ensure that children maintain lasting connections with their roots.
