First Move To WAX Blockchain
I started selling cards on WAX a few months ago when it was really profitable. It was quite possible to sell a common card that costs a few cents in DEC for a couple of dollars on WAX. That's how I build my wax account and bought some good Alien Worlds mining gear. At some point I got greedy and decided to win big. I transferred my one and only legendary Lord Of Darkness and listed it on sale for 800 WAX. Of course no one wanted to buy it at such price, but as I was not in a hurry to sell I left it as it was.
The SPS Airdrop
When the airdrop began I started getting SPS from the WAX blockchain because of that single card that I had there. I think it was 1500 points that got me like 0.2 - 0.3 SPS per day. However a few days ago I noticed that there is nothing coming from the WAX side any more. It turned out that someone has actually paid 800 WAX for my Lord Of Darkness! Imagine my surprise to find that a level 1 legendary card is traded for $150.
Recovering The Damage
First I felt like being robbed, because I was hoping to sell for a price much higher than the market and then buy back. For good or bad this is not possible any more. I staked some of the WAX for CPU - WAX transactions are getting more an more expensive each day. With the rest of the WAX I bought the last 3 Azmare dice packs under 100 WAX to recover the SPS airdrop points I lost by that legendary sale.
Now overall - I lost a legendary card which was of no use to me. Got 3 Azmare packs which bring me twice more SPS per day and also increased my CPU stake. Not so bad I would say. My only concern is if the prices keep going up like that trade will turn into a huge loss... but only time will tell
