DAOs for sure are the hope of better governance, if they work or not it remains to be proven. But they are at least challenge current traditional systems which are prone to corruption and cheating.

I am not sure the structure is what needs testing as much as the individual projects. Some DAOs will be a total failure, others a raging success.
