How ambitious is your ambition?

Yesterday, I stumbled into a post from a Leo Author that talked about his dream for the price of DEC. In the short post, the author discussed a bunch of issues that includes his anxiety about holding DEC but central to this article is the part where he talked about his hope of 1 DEC being equivalent to 1 Hive.

I mean, the odds of DEC actually equalling the price of Hive is farfetched at the moment, but that's the same thing I thought about Leo before it achieved and even surpassed that range. Judging by the rate of development on Splinterlands, is it actually out of the question?

I mean, we're talking about a game that has a market cap that has pretty much eclipsed that of Hive blockchain and has consistently improved. We're talking about a platform with loads of potential to spare here.

It's about dreaming

Anyway, Splinterlands is just one platform in a host of others that run on Hive blockchain. There are also others around here that have so much potential and just need the right push to make it across the line.

If there's a lesson to be learnt from Splinterlands and Leo ecosystem, it's the power of ambition in your project. So whether the project is your personal finance or an application you're looking to create, you should always reach for the stars.

Funny enough, this is something that I've had to evolve over the years. When I started my journey in crypto in December of 2017, I just hoped I'd be able to afford the occasional beer with my earnings from posts rewards.

Fast-forward to today and it's my source of income that affords me a fairly decent life by my society's standards. I've learnt to be content and appreciate what I have but I've also learnt to want more.

Reach for the stars

Dreaming is free and so is hopium. I consume large quantities of them, and try to be optimistic in every situation I go into.

I mean, I know that realistically speaking, things could go wrong but I still retain my optimism in the eye of the storm. However, I always make plans, contingency plans and contingency plans for contingency plans to ensure that my optimism doesn't bite me in the ass.

I like to win but...

The summary of it is that I like to win at anything I set my mind to do. It's not necessarily about being competitive, it's just more about setting my own targets and achieving them.

Sadly, I'm not cutthroat and I don't think I'll ever be that guy because there's so much more to life than winning. I tend to compromise at times, get derailed whenever it's necessary and I'm not ashamed of that.

Despite my shortcoming, I still have a desire to win and that force has consistently driven me down this path. I've made bad and good decisions, moved on, and evolve new strategies whenever the variables change.

An old saying:

Aim for the stars, hit the moon.

You are correct. The fact that people do not aim high enough is a problem.

Cryptocurrency offers each of us the opportunity at life changing money. That is different for all of us but whatever that is, it is there for the taking.

I am not gonna lie, I have that anxiety about holding DEC too. I mean, is it gonna continue on its upward trend, or is it gon crash sometime and I lose all these profits? Dilemma

With Crypto, I am daring to dream. I am as ambitious as being able to travel around the world on a whim with nothing but my laptop and phones. You get what I mean?

That is the lifestyle I am looking to build with crypto as the bedrock.
