It is sort if crazy weird when you start to see some of the crypto-projects that had previously only just existed in the ethereal digital domain start to pop up in meatspace... but that just happened to me in the last week.
We were in Sydney, and just minding our own business... we had gone to Victoria's Basement to do some shopping for our house with my wife and kids... not Secret, that is a different place where you probably aren't taking your kids as a family thing.
Anyway, Victoria's Basement is a sort of outlet warehouse for all sorts of kitchenwares. It is a bit like IKEA in that... you go in for one thing, and you exit with a bunch of different things that you didn't know that HAD TO HAVE!
... and that was the case again this time... however, I managed to limit the things that picked up to some gin-stones for my alcoholic drinks. But my wife and kids were less disciplined... or was that me, when my kids asked if we needed certain things.
Now, the outlet sells a few homeware things as well... and there is a little games and toys section as well. Very limited, as it is mostly a kitchen and food place...
... but my kids went to that section, and came back asking if they could pick up a cute penguin!!! Of course, I said "no"... they both have WAAAAYYYYYY too many soft-toys... and they don't need another one that they will love for one week before it joins the rest of the pile.
But they had to show me them anyway... and it turns out that the penguins are the Ethereum (and now Solanan) Pudgy Penguins! I knew that after the NFT project was taken over that the new leadership had moved to do more merchandising and licensing of the cute critters. But I had never ever seen anything of it in the real world...
... and here they are! Totally cute... but I'm still not letting my kids buy one. That said... I was was sorely tempted to buy one for myself though...

That's cool. Be even better if the individual things were ERC-20s
Yeah, I was checking if they were nfts as well. But the original pudgy nft is the one that collects the merchandise and licencing fees.
Now that's a cool business model!
Haha, that is pretty funny about the Penguins. I hold some PENGU myself. None of the NFTs though. I think knowing my luck I would get Victoria's Basement confused with Victoria's Secret and probably get kicked out.
Did you pick up the airdrop?
Yeah, it is really embarrassing looking for cooking utensils in a knickers shop!
Yeah, I got the airdrop.
