God designed the universe to be enjoyable. Especially the earth which is human habitat is so organized that nothing could interfere with peace and comfort of humans. It is also designed that humans will not feel bored living on earth. Take for example, what if all fruits has one color? What if all fruits tastes the same. What about food? How would you feel if there is only one food to earth in the world? Or every food tastes the same? Life will be bored. Now lets talk about waste management . Animal waste are used in crop production in form of organic fertilizer. Organic manure are fertilizers that are produced naturally. They are used to enrich the soil or used for feeding the soil to obtain nutrients for crop yield .?They are derived from chicken residues, prepared compost, refuse from slaughter, and so on. But my area of concentration is manure from my poultry farm.
You all know i run a poultry business; yes, layers to be precise and we are operating in a farming community located at Abai mbaasa, Umuomenihu community. The local community farmers usually patronize us in manure for their crops. Though they always complain of high cost of the manure bag, but they would come year and year to buy from us even though there are other sources of manure from different farms, yet they would stick to us. The reason being that our manure is 100% organic. Some have gone as far as advising us to mix our organic waste with saw dust so as to increase the quantity and reduce the price but doing so is what we have vowed never to do at any cost.
Every company has a trademark. For us, @bestars farm, maintaining a high quality organic waste has been our identity. Our customers would always remark "you have the best quality manure thats why we aways patronize you people despite the fact that you sells at higher price than other farms" yes this is the pure fact. The efficiency of our chicken manure can never been overemphasized. For example: the manure applied on a land will not only improve crop yield for that year only rather the efficiency will extend to 2 or 3 years of farming cycle. So the long term benefits outweighs the price and that is what gives us upper hand over chicken waste from other poultry farms and we are not joking with it. So the advice of compromising quality in a bid to sell cheaper will never be entertained. You can see the evidence on these crops. 
they have not yet absorbed the ones i applied, but the effect of the ones applied on previous years are still helpful to them.
This year, something unusual happened. Manure business is experiencing economic downturn. Potential customers would come for market survey and promise to get back to us, most times, they won't come back. We reasoned that it may be because of price hike. But excuse me, is there any commodity that is not costly in Nigeria? Even the negligible goods are costly. Little did we know that something big is coming! Just yesterday, my hubby received a call from a customer from afar, inquiring about manure availability, after discussion, they agreed that he would come yesterday to buy a busload of manure which is about 100 bags or more. I was happy when he arrived with his workers to lift the manure. Loading the bags in a vehicle is not an easy task.it requires a very strong manpower 
because it has excess weight due to its potency. The workers who loaded will unload it at their final destination and receive their payment. You see, whatever we-are doing, it is good to set standards and maintain it. 
People who know the worth would always come for it no matter any delay. I was overjoyed when they were loading it. They come from a very far distance all because they know what they want.
