It had been a serious dry season which affected plants and animals before the rainy season ensued. We are amazed to wonder where the rain that has flooded the whole area is coming from, hence the need to discus the universe. What do you know about the universe?

The universe refers to the globe, the world, some refer to it as everything concerning nature. The universe can also be defined as the world with all its structures, planets, time, space, energy, and matter and the forces that binds them together. The universe is so large that no one can imagine its size. Th solar system and the galaxies of stars are also comprised of the universe. These stars are classified into clusters and superclusters. And each cluster contains billions of stars. The universe is so vast that light from the sun travels millions of years before getting to the earth One cannot really tell everything about the universe because it has long been existing before the existence of man and the creator behind it is almighty and wise. The universe has been described in many facets from different individuals according to their diverse knowledge. Cosmology has taught many things about the universe using scientific method of theory, test, observation inference or conclusion to establish facts about the universe. On the other hand, archeologists use findings beneath the earth's surface to establish their own fact regarding the age and size of the universe. While the evolutionists believes everything happened randomly and spontaneously by chance with no person behind it. The atheist also believes in non existence of the creator. What about you? What do you know about the universe? Well, am going to discuss the earth as part of the universe in from the scriptural point of view .
To begin, the bible shows that 'in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth' as a result of this fact, nobody can ascertain the age of the universe. It has been existing for years before humans existence. Scientists has it that that universe is billions of trillions of years old. This truth counteracts the idea that there is no creator and that everything happens spontaneously and evolves over time. The earth is spherical or oval in shape and rotates around its orbit, and revolves around its axis. This rotation ensures that we have different times in a day, like morning, afternoon, snd evening time respectively. While the revolution of the earth ensures we have seasons like rainy season, dry season and the harmattan season as we experience it in Nigeria. While people from other parts of the earth enjoy other seasons apart from the ones mentioned above. In the past, scientists believed that the earth is held by giant elephants or other animals but the holy scripture has long mentioned that the earth hangs on nothing.

The earth was designed for human habitation. The almighty, loving and wise created different plants and animals with its species. He also created plants in its varieties. This is to ensure that life is not boring but enjoyable. What about beautiful colors we see in flowers and in some animals? We are left in awe by their magnificence. ' even king Solomon of the ancient Israel with all its glory was not adorned or more beautiful than the colorful flowers and animals that God created. He not only created life, he also ensured that life is sustained on earth. How did he do that? He blessed the land to produce food and fruit trees to be available, each food and fruit for each season round the year. There are herb, and shrub for human health. He made provision for water cycles, oxygen cycle, nitrogen cycle and the rest for plant and animal enjoy life. What about water bodies around theus, the oceans, the sea, the lakes, the rivers. The mountains, caves, hills, and the rest of other natural features with their magnificence.
