That is perfect indeed. It is nice to be able to turn off the HVAC for a bit.
We are getting remnants of Hurricane Helene.
It has been steady raing for 3 days now, which is good because we really needed that rain.
We are very fortunate to have not had the severe weather that so many others have had.
The devastation from this storm is incredible.
We've had beach hazard statements on Lake Michigan. I think it was rainy one day last week but no severe weather or loss of electric power. I like living in the Midwest anyway but when I see what happens in other places like with Hurricane Helene I am even more happy to live here. Those poor people. I saw some of it when my Dad was watching the news and I happened to be downstairs.

It is crazy the amount of devastation and destruction caused by one storm.

And makes me feel ashamed of complaining about stupid little things that go wrong.

We are all creatures of our own world and that is where we focus. Home, family friends, work, ect make up our world.
There is nothing to be ashamed of, you are just human.😊
It is crazy however how fast life can change in a instant. I am grateful to not have been affected by the storm.
