INLEO has innovated an entirely new way to signup and login to Hive by using Keystores to create Hive Accounts.
asked this on AMA but there was to many threads. Is Keystore login using something connected with inleo or would for example Splinterlands be able to add the same login method?
Splinterlands would need to add their own support for Keystore. Otherwise, anyone onboarded via Keystore gets a full Hive account, so they can log in via Hive Keychain. But I understand your question, so, no. Not without Splinterlands adding support for Keystore.
i understand they would need to add it. but for example how login from twitter worked (at least before) it was not possible for Splinterlands to add it because it was tech run by InLeo (at least that was my understanding). So my question was is this something that anyone could add or is it dependent on InLeo infrastructure. (must admit have no idea how it works, or even how exactly keychain works :D )
Keystore is not Inleo tech. It's a wallet used on many blockchains. But Splinterlands would need to implement it as a way to log in and broadcast transactions. That's what Inleo did, that's why it works for them and only for them on Hive.
