Hive Goals and What's New Start Of December 2024

in LeoFinance3 days ago

AH so I was just about to write up another article and then almost forgot that I always do my weekly updates with what's new with hive and primarily the applications on the Hive blockchain along with some of my own goals.

Alright so first is price action for this week on hive.

Hive's price hasn't moved all that much in the last week however it has moved enough that it's starting to hold some decent numbers again and not be wild constant swings. For me I'm not at all excited about hives price movement until $0.50 - $0.60 at that point we will finally be at least recovering to where we should be. Outside of that a bull run for hive would be around $1.50 - $2 that holds for a period of time like a few weeks to a month. That would be a bullish case of hives price target for me.

Now sure we could see a spike again to $3 like we did in the last bull run but that spike I personally feel is going to be very short lived again as whales cash out in droves at that point. Plus the legit insane inflation that is still going on with hive with the 15% APR on HBD.

Some New Stuff

So personally I want this game to have already been released as it feel well behind what it should be at which seems to be a common trend around hive in terms of projects not having the funds they need to complete apps and get them across the finish line even with tons of backing and support.

In any case that app is a game called HoloZing Right now for each day you login and claim you can get December bonus rewards! It's crazy to think we did this last year and there's still no game lol but hey I'm here for it.

This time around you'll be claiming a in game currency called Holo Dust which will be used in the game when it's released. Plus normally if you fill out enough days at the end of it all you'll end up getting an achievement which normally produces some decent perks and bonuses for your account so I'd say don't miss out!

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 325,000 Current: 121,930

I've changed up my final goal here a bit to now 325k the reason for this is after doing some calculations that's the amount I would need to hit 100 hive per day passively. Now the only issue with that however is it would be all curation rewards which I believe 100% of that gets powered up so that's kind of a pain in the ass honestly.

Week over week we added in 483 hive which is a good solid amount. Across 7 days that averages out to be... 69 lol yes yes I know. But that's also one of the highest weeks we have had in a long while.

HBD

Hive back dollars still is not a focal point for me. However with hive prices starting to move higher I've started to stack it again as payouts come in. These are not drastic moves at all and will only add up to roughly around 2,000 HBD after a full year of stacking. It's still something that I'll continue to add up for a little as extra liquid funds to move into opportunities I believe would pay out higher than 15%. For example I dumped 2k HBD into SPS and that's doubled!

$LEO

Well, well well we reached out goal of 150,000 LEO! Now that means it's time to transition. I'm going to primarily be holding this and dumping it into liquidity pools now to try and build more passive liquid funds. I'll still power up some LEO here and there but the days of powering it up on the daily for me are over at least for now. Now it's time to branch it out.

Splinterlands

You have no idea how pumped I am to be sooooo close to my goal of 1 million SPS. I know for sure just in general APR alone that I'll be hitting the goal by end of year and most likely much sooner. You can be sure I'll be releasing an article on my @spt.bitcoinflood Splinterlands account when that happens.

Since that's pretty much locked in now my goals have shifted into DEC and land in which I want to get all of my land up and running. The issue is I need a massive amount of DEC we are talking somewhere between 5 million to 7 million DEC of which I currently am just shy of 1 million.

I'll be honest I wish the pools would give you a better idea in terms of fees collected and a way to get a hold of that DEC for providing liquidity to these pools. That seems like a major missing point at the moment which I believe the team is working on so that's going to be a big plus in terms of the investment front. I feel like those decent APRs are going to attract in more investors like you see in the defi world when they know the APR they are going to get.

You have impressive targets, congratulations for hitting some and amazing progress towards the others.

I have personally hit my Leo target of 50k and now sell me earnings for Hive.
My Hive target is 50k, I am around 29k, so I am happy with my progress.
I may get a big jump, if I free up some excess thrid job profits and buy a big junk of Hive, if I can figure out how to get it into Hive without Binance.

I have also hit my SPS target of 100k, and I am selling all earnings for Hive.
I only have one piece of land, I am overwhelmed by the amount of kowledge and Dec needed for land.
I think it's almost a whole new game.

I am still renting cards to buildp my Dec bag.
I have a goal of 100k Dec

Renting cards requires vigiliance as the market moves quickly and you find yourself going from half rented to 10% pretty quickly.
It's tough going with rents being low, and fees for every move.
They are small fees, but eve small fees eat into small profits.

Hive is sometimes a full time job, that pays peanuts, while you dream of earning enough to pay the monthly mortgage payment one day.

Any advice you can provide, would be appreciated.
I wouldn't take it as financial advice, just mentoring.
