Is it bad that I wont vote for this because I rather they just start treating it like a business and generate revenue from the platform to bring $ value in and fund their own development?

This would be completely true and I would agree with it if I wasn't familiar with other DHF and governance systems where a shiton of projects develop an idea from scratch with the treasury funds. I get your point, I just don't see it as a bad thing to fund a project half and half, own funds and treasury funds.
