I plan to use the rails in both ways - both to sell and to buy HIVE/HBD.
I do a lot of arb and moving capital around from chain to chain. Right now, that requires a CEX in the middle (deposit a coin, withdraw to another chain)
Instead, I'll be able to just seamlessly swap across all the major chains. Seamlessly and in one user-interface

You mean with just HIVE? I'm using bridges to get assets from chain to chain. Good airdrop opportunities in that too! Just published a post about it. 😉
I think it's possible to move straight to different assets with many bridges. Just recently moved Arb ETH to SOL on Solana but could as well bridge it to JUP 👍
But I do say credit to this: there is actually a product tied to Hive to promote. That is a unique situation instead of talking about Hive and people find nothing of substance.
I'm looking forward to being able to go both ways as well. And then even inject some liquidity to earn passivly on it as well. It's going to be interesting times for sure! A big change up compared to what we are used to and that's a good thing!
thats interesting, but I doubt whales would want to exit at this price but then again greed, I have been getting more HBD, Im just too close to my entry point so dont want to ruin it
I don't expect much change for me. My transfers are generally both in and out of Hive. I may start off with some outbound transfers to the liquidity pools, which offer more gains than HBD Savings.

Not cashing out. May "transition" some to another location for a while and bring it back when it makes me fat stacks :-)
