The Era Of AI Agents Over Already

in LeoFinanceyesterday

Let's be honest AI has been around for years and it's really not doing much. I've tried to use it for a number of things and the best I've been able to use it for (was charts and graphs until they jacked that up recently) and searching for how to do things in GhatGPT.

Outside of that things like Music, Video and picture are ok but it still gets A LOT wrong and it takes a while and constant prompts to get something you can actully end up using and even in those cases it's most likely not what you thought it would be.

So AI itself is rather lackluster and it seems to be getting played out now.

When the madness started last year with everyone tossing AI on on every project of theirs even when there really wasn't AI or there was no need for AI for it in the first place and people have just overall gotten tired of it.

AI Agents

Today we are going to focus on AI agents which was a hot topic for a while and seems to have recently just fizzled out. What was once a meme coin, trading robot has either under performed so badly or just run it's course that there's really nothing going on with it these days.

AI Agents were suppose to be the next phase of AI. Chatbots for example like ChatGPT and DeepSeek require human interaction to get outputs. While AI agents require minimal to no input from humans once set on a mission.

The other thing is AI agents and AI blockchains are still being developed on the daily and launched. The issue is no one seems to really care as these projects have not seen bumps at all for their recent moves. In fact the entire crypto market sector has really been struggling overall and just recently got hammered with a massive North Korean hack.

Places Focusing On AI

Tether has been a major player in announcing projects they are working on with AI and also many major Institutional investors as well. But that didn't seem to impact things in a positive way at all. In fact maybe people just don't really want AI for most things and don't like the idea of not having control.

The facade of it all has come from the release of Deepseek which products a just as good if not better version of ChatGPT with 1/100th the capital of ChatGPT. This caused a lot of people to reconsider how much they were getting scammed out of by these other AI leaders which were raking in capital and hardly producing nothing.

This has kind of reset everything in the AI space. Less money coming in because in reality it takes less money to actully do these things it was just the first ones to do it did it and didn't think about efficiency.

This crashed NVIDIA stock as it was seen that having massive amounts of GPUs was not the answer and instead AI could be done much more efficient. This also affected crypto prices especially those in the AI sector and what we have found is that the AI agents are not really being used for anything good or productive. They are mainly social, trading and spammy bots with a meme coin behind it. Something that social media and well honestly people in general don't care to interact with which also brings up the dead internet theory.

Is It Over?

So then the question comes to mind are AI agents over and AI anything pretty much dead? Well the answer to that is most likely no and what we are in right now is a phase in which things become more efficient and better because the competition has changed in a major way which shook everything up. However this means that companies of the AI's will need to do better and offer better features in order to stand out. This should actully build development faster for AI now but it will most likely take a few months before we start to see those new features come to light.

That saying now might be a great time to scoop up a bunch of discounted AI if you feel it will take off later through new advancements.

AI has been around for a while but after ChatGPT this has got more hype and attention. I don't think it's over because now I see alot of enterprises are adopting ai to automate various roles and activities. Possibly in next few years we will see even more coming from ai which can disrupt various industries.
