What's New With Hive Week 1 December

December is here and the bull market is in full swing including big scams, rug pulls and memes. Normally when you start seeing all of this happening you're pretty close to being at the end of the bull market run for crypto. So we will have to see what happens this time around but it's getting a little crazy out there at the moment.

First as always lets look at price movements of Hive.

Week over week there wasn't too much of a change in price until yesterday when the price spiked again. This caused hive to hit $0.40 for a moment and then come back down to its now $0.37. For myself I'm not bullish on hive until we hit $0.50 and start holding that for a week or more as that would put us in line with being back to where we should be.

There is a lot of cashing in that's starting to happen with hive though as well and with inflation of HBD at 15% and having to convert that to hive if you want to cash out throws some rather odd power dynamics into hive at the moment.

Still a long way to go for hive but the fundamentals of it are still heavily weighted towards selling out for people over stacking it. We will have to wait and see what happens and start looking at the amounts being powered down by accounts which will give us a better idea as to what the future holds. For myself I'm still powering up everything that comes in except for the liquid stuff. That's over half my earnings being powered up.

Overall quick recap of what's new

Mainnet launch of VSC is now slated for Q1 of 2025 missing the target of end of year.
Games continued to be worked on however release dates on them are still unknown or if there will even be one in some cases.
There's been a bunch of new "investment" style tokens made on Hive-Engine which worries me a bit as it seems like fake investment tokens which are very centralized. It will be interesting what happens with these though.

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 300,000 Current: 122,288

Week over week we pushed another 358 hive powered up or roughly 51 hive per day. A little past that half way mark of where we want to be at 100 hive per day. That's mainly not going to happen until I hit that 300,000 mark which is primarily because that would be curation rewards at that time and ALL of that gets instantly powered up.

HBD

HBD still low on the radar however as hive starts to pump payouts in HBD are going to start to rise. Hive soon is going to be pumping out a lot more in HBD rewards which is going to be a weird thing in terms of massive inflation happening on the HBD token as we continue to roll through this bull market.

$LEO

We hit 150,000 LEO last week! So that hits my milestone I had for it. Now I'm still stacking LEO but it's all liquid at this point of which I'll be making transfers into LEO defi from time to time when I feel it's the right move to do so. The idea of this is to grow yet another form of passive income. With the bull market rolling in hot I want to make sure I set myself up well in terms of passive income generation. I'd like build at least $150 stable per day in passive income from crypto which I think should be very possible. It will be a mix of stables and tokens. But normally when bull markets are raging you want to be taking on stables.

Splinterlands

Welp we are still a little short on hitting that 1 million goal. It's coming for sure and I'm hoping this week we do as I want to make a big post about it on my splinterlands account @spt.bitcoinflood In fact I think I'll be starting up a daily post there starting today or near daily that just highlights my actions in the game, some battles, community events and so forth. I figure if I'm going to be spending a hour a day in Splinterlands then why not write about it. In any case the 1 million goal of SPS is coming fast and then comes land.
