Will Issues With Russia-Ukraine Deepen Losses?
For one I rarely get into politics but I do follow them close enough to be in the know and I don't get my information from only major headlines and news outlets. I like to get my information from people there and then create the real senario in my head. However I'm also not there, I haven't lived there nor do I know all the politics so these are simply my best educated guesses as to how issues there will act on the markets and in particular the crypto markets.

Much talk has been going on about the crypto winter and while some say it wont happen I have to be honest we have been in it for 3+ months now. Crypto in general hasn't moved much up or down it's just been bouncing around for the last three months. That greatly sets it up for either a massive rally or like we are seeing now a massive sell off.
Because the volume of crypto has been falling and the overall trajectory has been a slow downward trend.
Above is a screenshot of the total market cap of crypto over the last 90 days from CoinGecko as you can see we really have done nothing but been on a slide south with a small pop rally at the end of January. Throw in tensions between two or really all super powers and the state of the world starts to get a little shaky in your mind. Wars are NOT GOOD for anything include markets.
What's Next
Things can go one of two ways. Either we settle back out and get ready for a new mega rally in about 6 months or tensions increase causes more questionable things about war and its implications to the point of a harder sell off.
The threat of war has a global impact and is no longer centralized to just a few countries because all are now involved. In relativity to me it's a repeat of the cold war after WW2. It also feels like the same stepping stones Germany took when they started to first expand their boarders. To me outside of all the little things going on in the background action needs to happen now before it escalates into more and that to me would be the largest sanctions ever.
Now I'm sure we will be getting into politics here and I'll get comments like well yeah then they better put sanctions on the USA for what they have done and do. I get it but playing that back and forth nonsense game gets us no where but divided now does it?
Cryptos Future
I feel personally that the world is in a mesh right now. The phasing out of leaders having far too much power and the dawn of where the entire world is connected and more equal. You can image how those in power are going to react as they start feeling the loss of that power right?
The bitcoin paper says it best so here it is.

I can't tell if global tensions are going to make bitcoin pump or dump. With both Ukraine and Russia talking about adoption.
Even though they say war is good for the economy, that rarely means for average people.

It's good as in they all print a bunch of money and take more money from people to fuel these projects it does not help the everyday person that's for sure. But seriously let's hope we never see something as awful as that happen ever again.
I believe crypto is here to stay and the world we sooner or later accept it impact it has to play to change things positively which is why more people are trooping in daily to be part of the Crypto world to also benefit from it
