Today I will like to discuss about one vital factor affecting a lot of people finances and which is extravagant spending or you can say extravagant lifestyle. Extravagant spending is a common problem that can lead to finance instability and stress. It can be difficult to curb spending habits. One thing many of us need to understand is the difference between wants and needs and the discipline to realise not all wants are to be attended to. I think that is the mistake every and anybody Suffering from extravagant spending is facing.

There are quite some helpful tips that can help you manage your spending and avoid an extravagant spending lifestyle. Let me start by saying the first is tracking your spending. This is the first step to understanding where your money is going. There are a number of different ways to track your spending, such as using a budgeting app, a spreadsheet, or a notebook. By tracking your spending, you know what you are spending your income on, you know what takes your expenses and helps you to manage it effectively.

Once you know where your money is going, you can start to make a budget. A budget will help you to allocate your money to different categories, such as housing, food, transportation, entertainment, and savings.
Most times It's easier to overspend when you use credit cards. When you use cash, you are more likely to be mindful of your spending because you can physically see how much money you have left. By setting a budget, it helps you to set priority on what to do and what not to do, what to spend and what not to spend. At the end of the day, the list of what you spend on is narrow down to what you need and not what you want.

If you are actually finding it difficult to narrow down your spending list, you can work out your reasons for buying something. What do I mean by that? before you make a purchase, ask yourself if you really need it. Are you buying it to fill an emotional void? Are you trying to impress someone else? Or are you just buying it because it's on sale? This will help you avoid temptation to spend unnecessary. Don't sign up for marketing promotions or follow influencers who promote products you don't need. When you're bombarded with advertising, it's easy to be tempted to buy things you don't really need.
If you tend to shop when you're stressed, find other ways to relax and de-stress.

Exercise, meditation, or spending time with friends are all great ways to cope with stress without spending money. It is needed that when you buy something, buy it for the long-term. Don't buy cheap items that you'll have to replace in a few months. Instead, investment in quality items that will last. Declutter your living space and focus on experiences rather than material possessions. When you have less stuff, you'll be less tempted to buy more stuff. Trust me, by following these tips, you can start to curb your spending and regain control of your finances. Remember, it's not about deprivation. It's about making mindful choices that are aligned with your values and goals.

I love your article friend, I don't really like buying cheap things that may not last for long. To save the stress of repeated buying, I rather get a quality stuff even if it's just one. Nice publication bye.
