I understand wanting foreigners to invest in the country, but many cheaper places reject foreign tenets and I wish my ten years here paying taxes and gaining trust with locals could get me a freelance visa but there is no such thing

Nigeria is a great place with many great people, I think if the streets were a little safer and the worst cases of fraud were stopped, the place would absolutely flourish and become a superpower. It will happen eventually, hopefully soon

stricter enforcement of certain loose regulations because I’m a foreigner (I need a proper office while locals can use a home address as an office)
OMG. This is soooo painful and I must say it out loud.
Somehow looking at the other side, i might not want to put a blame due to security reasons? But for the citizens, reverse could be as likely too. 1/2

I leave in Nigeria and despite being opportune to have a business with home address, 89.9% still prefers having a shop (Address).
