If you are new to these posts , I basically copy and paste every payout and refund made to Valueplan into an excel document and show Hive users what Valueplan actually spent every month from a marketing point of view. So what we saw last month was a relatively quiet month in Valueplan terms as they had to go to the DHF for funding in Q4. As like every business the end of the quarter is very tight for funds so you will see less spent in the last month of the given quarter. However when funding is granted again for the new quarter the faucet is turned back on again and everyone gets a drink of water. Now we ended last month with wooconventions with an amount of 2189.10 HBD funded so we begin just after that with 5,000 HBD given to the Vibes project. . Get the smelling salts ready for this one and take a seat because it is quite tasty. As with all my posts I try to be as objective as possible but I have broken down the payouts this month for the Hive Community to see. The payouts are all in the Valueplan wallet anyway if you want to compare to the below. I will begin with the totals for each user account in October

As you can see from above there were 16 user accounts funded in October totaling $144,375.50 when we convert it to USD dollars.
Ranked 1 : Miami Art Week
The highest being @lordbutterfly , one of the project manager for $31,650.00. He is involved in a number of different projects , some his own and some for Valueplan. I have the various payments broken down below.

The Miami Art Week as you can see takes up a significant amount of this funding. A quick google tells me this takes place on 7th and 8th of December. Their main sponsors are The Bank of Miami, Ten North Group, Brightline and Bacardi. To become an exhibitor for a digital platform it costs from $119 for an emerging artist all the way up to a Gallery exhibit of $499.00. The application fee to take part is $49. This may be a stupid question but what is the $25,000 for? It says sub event sponsor on the Valueplan wallet explanation but what is the sub event?
Ranked 2 : World Rally Championship Is An Expensive Business
The next largest is of course the Rally Car who was funded a total of 154,000.08 Hive in the month of October which translates to $31,030 at the time of conversion. A large chunk of change as you can imagine. I will breakdown the totals and the explanations below as an amount so large needs breaking down.@ssekulji likes to be paid in Hive as opposed to HBD so it is fairly easy to calculate as he is the only user for the most state that is paid out in Hive. There seems to be blocks of 5000 HBD in equivalent Hive going out every time but do all these items cost 5000HBD? It would be some coincidence. It is just all too general I think. The expenses should be categorized so we see how much was spent on accommodation for the event and a payment for this should be made based on the quotes and booking references from the hotels. Take the 2nd and 3rd payments for example totaling $10,000. It is for "General Race Costs" including transport , setup, accommodations and related payments. The next payment is also for transport , team costs and accommodations. There needs to be more of a breakdown here. Granted things may cost may vary but on the other hand some items could cost less, say for example accommodations, and I have yet to see a refund given to @Valueplan if the costs came in under the lump sum payments. Would it be possible to break the Valueplan funding into sections such as accommodation, transport costs for getting to the venue, mechanical costs for the car, meal expenses etc. With this amount of funding surely the lads would be able to break it down for us.

@ssekulji has increased his HP to over 9,000 HP staked as he powered up 8800 HP in September which is good news as I am constantly complaining about users who get funded thousands and have no skin in the game as regards HP.
Ranked 3 :Blockchain India Summit
The next most expensive payout in October is to @blackheart1 who is running various projects in India. Let us have a look at his payout breakdown this month.The mere mention of the word Merch sends shivers down my spine. Maybe it's nothing. Finfarm is a blackhearts Youtube channel that covers a wide range of crypto subjects which Valueplan are giving him 2,400HBD (4th installment) in October. Just wondering what Hive is paying for here? The sponsorship of the channel? It says "multi month partnership " in the wallet explanation. So does Hive receive any of the viewership revenue from this partership or what is the story/ plan?

Ranked 4: The (In)Famous GYM Street WorkOut
Next ranked 4th Highest Funded in October is the GYM Street Workout Crew who we have all heard alot about over the last couple of months. Here is a breakdown of their payouts in October. I try to be as objective as possible in these monthly posts but this looks like a business to me. I have a couple of malls in my property portfolio in Ireland and to attract footfall to the shopping malls, we pay acts like this 4 figure sums to come in perform a show.

Ranked 5: The Jet Setting Conferencier.
I have focused on @arlettemsalasse in September and her purchase of 11,000 Hive rubber bracelets for whooping 8,000HBD from a local supplier. She is ranked number 5 of the highest funded in October, In her own words ,she's only a woman , a mother and having 3 jobs (One working for the worlds oldest exchange) in difficult circumstances in her home country but there is no stopping her love for Hive which is all voluntary. A trip to Switzerland and Argentina. Niiiceeee!! Where does she find the time for all this volunteering. Let us take a look at the breakdown of her funding last month.

So these were the 5 accounts that were funded more than 10,000 HBD in October. But there are some accounts that go under the radar that are funded over 1,000 HBD some months that may be worth looking at.
Pedal Bike Racing
I know @cryptoandcoffee was querying why so much is being spent on what is essentially a "Park Run" in biking terms . Let us have a look at @victorwallet 's payouts this month. Victor does up the leaflets for the GYM Street Workout. A handy 240 HBD for him every time there is a Street Work Out Event.

First of all this is a pedal bike we are talking about.
I do a bit of bike racing being from Sean Kelly (A Tour De France winner) country. For events I repair my own bike. If you are into racing pedal bikes , the least you need to be able to do is maintain your own bike. I see no reason why the Hive Community need to be paying for bike repairs. Who are we paying? Paying Victor to fix his own bike? Granted you need expert mechanics to repair a rally car but a racer??? Do me a favour!! This ain't the Tour De France!!
The mysterious qmwallet
The qmwallet pops up every so often for a large payout and again in October. It is hard to source the owner of said wallet as it has no account value, 0 followers and 0 following but it looks like it is an extension of the Community Wells Project. Might be worth writing a post on that wallets page or at least a bio , would take 1 minute of somebodies time to be more transparent just to give the Hive Community an understanding that we are not just giving mcsamm another 7,556.00HBD.

Rally Car Photography
To give the Hive rally car some decent exposure, Valueplan hired @lordbutterfly for the photography/ videography gig. You can see above the 450 HBD paid to him in October for this. But it looks like some else is doing the videography also with @mynewlife getting 500 HBD for this in October to add to the 450 HBD that @lordbutterfly was given. Even the F1 teams don't have 2 photographers/ videographers. 🤣. Is @mynewlife taking over the reigns or what is the story? Probably a simple explanation for this rather than one is a photographer and one is a videographer? We will be getting the lads masseuse next 🤣!!!

During this month I am seeing an awful lot of the Valueplan funding is being spent on travel to events and venues which of course is dead money as we fly various the various Hive personalities around the world for certain events and promotions. Surely Hive's web is large enough that it would be more cost effective to have someone in the host country in their host language to do this to cut down on costs and of course decrease the Hive carbon footprint. I see many environmentalists on Hive but they would die of shock if they found out they were complicit in this amount of air pollution. It is ridiculous the amount of jet setting we are doing for a small little blockchain who are now #379 in the ranking on Coin Market Cap.
So this is the end of part 1 of my Valueplan payouts in October. Any other questions regarding the other payments and I can post the breakdown in the comments. I will look at the YTD figures later this week.
I'm not against handing out the cash per se but what I am aghast at is the absolute lack of any form of accountability or obvious checking on the recipients. Where are the receipts ? Imagine any business in the world simply handing out whatever is asked for to its employess to attend conferences or spend on promotion or even charitable causes. Its unthinkable.
I notice that @arlettemsalase barely posts and is also a business development manager for Bitfinix and ambassador for Criptocuriosa. If she's attending conferences funded by Hive, is she also there promoting her other interests too? The 'mother with three jobs' appears to be in Paris now according to her Twitter. Lets see an invoice for these wristbands!
As for Rally Care Photography/ Hive Film ? Seriously? $1700 USD. Where are all these Hive 'movies' we've heard about for the last couple of years? I've never seen or heard of them online anywhere.
Finally. How can users see old DHF proposals that have now expired, either ones that passed or not? Surely they should remain on the proposals list historically?
The very least the recipients of funding in whatever form should be made to do is post a weekly post showing the rest of the community how the funds are being used and the exact expenses. Its very odd how nothing seems to be returned and the budgets required are always exactly the right amount or too little, never too much!

I really don't think anyone is 'calling you out', it's the system that's being called into question. The transparency and lack of accountability as well as the ambiguous descriptions of what funds are being used for.
Personally, I love to see Hive being used to support small businesses, being used as a form of universal basic income and especially to see it being used to make a difference to people's lives, as per the water project.

Good points well made there @nathen007 . I knew a government official locally who went on "work " trips and he used to charge for the same hotel expenses from 2 government departments. The same expenses so interesting you should say that. Sometimes they government official wouldn't even stay the night but get a lift to and from the venue from another government official. They cancelled the bookings last minute and took the expense for the hotels, and the mileage as well. And then claimed back for everything twice. So this stuff is not beyond the realms of possibility and there is a hell of alot more oversight in government departments. The project managers will come back and say everything is accounted for with receipts but I'm not convinced. I would like to see these receipts.
Always appreciate these posts 😄 gives us another insight to it. I have to say whoever has the ball to create all those plans are great. They know they right words to say. I wouldn't have the balls to go around preaching about hive when my account has only 200hp. If it's paid, why not stake some money in hive? powerup when you can. I mean, when we introduce hive, doesn't we have to show our account? they said they have other jobs than Hive, so why not use a little income from it to stake up some hive ?
Is it voluntary? I am sure a lot of people here with bigger HP are doing these things voluntary too, talking about hive and what not 🤣 and unpaid.

@macchiata you are far from a nobody. You are as hot as those green chilli’s and as cool as that Fantech keyboard you have 😀. 100% agree . Well they say it’s voluntary but I don’t believe them. There’s skimming off the top done on a large scale and the buzz words are clear to see in the wallet descriptions.
For real though, maybe there's something we don't know about behind the scene and that's something I am willing to discount on. I appreciate the hard work that goes into putting hive on the spotlight.
I think it's not easy to talk about Hive either. I did it but then it's like to even audience that is tech literate, explaining hive is no joke 😂 but I had to show my hive account that it isn't a scam or some type of pyramid scene. So, I get the struggle and all that jazz. Maybe it's worth to get paid for 😂
I appreciate these posts and I am surprised that there is not more discussion about them, especially by the larger investor accounts. Surely, having this much Hive and HDB creating sell pressure without accountability is not good for their investment. I believed that the whole point of the way Hive was designed was to show a better way of running an economy than the governance systems most have to deal with in their own country.
Now it just seems like more of the same. It is shocking.
It’s worse because there’s no Centralised regulation and it just goes to show how these systems fail with a lack of leadership or control. Whenever money is involved greed takes over and the system breaks down. It will actually make a good study in time.
I thought that proof of stack would make voters more critical, especially for those who have more to lose. It seems that I was wrong. I would be interested to know what the high-value accounts think is the value proposition of things they vote on.

Pending to the account “moda Kri” or something like that. It is the new subterfuge of Valueplan and SWC. A clothing brand with which they plan to defray the cost of the next SWC event that will bring no profit to Hive, again....
Basically, they will buy uniforms. Which they say they don't do, but they do. But the funny thing is that the line items for these crappy sports expenses, used to be up to $5000, and there was a clear reduction in that. The question here is, did they get a cost reduction of up to 90%? Gee, what an efficiency man!

I’m aware of Value Plan, but not fully understanding how choices get made. Do we hiveans vote on the budget? Are those memos in the payouts the only info given? Or does Value Plan publish info? Sorry if i should know this on my own, but i figure that you may be aware of if they publish info.
Valueplan apply for DHF funding. The largest amount that is applied for by a long shot. A few of the larger accounts makes sure it gets through then project managers decide on who to fund and how much . They post a quarterly post around what they are funding but the Community have pushed back saying there should be more detail etc . This is why I post the actual numbers involved as some of them are hefty to say the least .
Appreciate your effort. Transparency is Key! There is no doubt that Hive needs to be promoted. But there is also no doubt that when there is money involved, the line between good intentions and opportunists can get blurry.
At the end of the day, i hope all those that hold the purse strings dont lose sight of the power of Hive Mind. Fewer people choosing how and where to spend funds, just means less opportunities for Hive to find those needed eyes.
Would be amazing to see proposals of the ideas being chosen within the value plan process, with those proposals getting voted on by the community, or perhaps a poll.
It’s easy to judge from the outside, but it’s simultaneously easy to get out of touch when insulated on the inside.
Its all about balance and a feedback loop.
I agree . Back through the months I ask the questions to recipients of the funding . Some replied and some still have not . I would be trust the people who reply with their side that the ones who ignore the questions. It’s too easy to get funded and not be willing to answer some questions around their funding so it’s more transparent for the community. The aim of this post is to show the Hive Community what exactly is being spent. Some of it looks fine but there are other projects that look questionable.

It’s mad isn’t it . There’s a great show on Netflix all about the Tour de France . It’s massively underrated . In it the film crew follow some of the big names in cycling back to their hometown. Tinkering with their bikes , cleaning their bikes etc. it’s good to see. If they can do that why can’t the amateurs .

Well, lordbutterfly got the money, so it appears he's the sponsor that the money was for. As to a 'sub event', maybe he's a Dom. Since he's a photographer, I bet he's got pics, but if it's that kind of event, I really don't want to see them.
Just last month he was telling me he was just a volunteer that didn't get paid anymore than I did, except for one thing, setting up Hivefest.
Nothing else.
He clearly didn't tell me the truth.

Just trying to find out if a gallery entry is $449 with a $49 admin fee to have an exhibit so why the round figure of $25,000. If it’s for flights and accommodation , entertainment or merch I give up!

I agree @bozz . It deflates me around the future of hive which is a reason why I sold Hive before the inevitable drop to 17 cent. The chain can’t sustain this amount of selling pressure.
Did you sell it outside of the chain or did you just move it into HBD. Not that I care. It's your business of course. I'm just curious.
Sold it and purchased Toncoin which is the telegram native coin then staked it in a wallet . I feel Toncojn is gonna go the way SOL did so I just swapped it for this . It was only $3.80 at the time so a bargain imo . I just felt I put so much into Hive that if I didn’t get anything back out of it then it would be a real shame. Sold at 40 cent which in hindsight now was a correct decision. Il buy back in if Toncoin rockets but I’m not as loyal to Hive anymore with all the shenanigans. It’s never going to go to $2,$3 or $5 so I just write as a hobby really without that investor hat on .

The DHF is the biggest scam going on this chain and everyone wonders why the price of Hive is such shit. Stop voting for the DHF or any witnesses who do and maybe something will change.
So are you saying unvote the witnesses who are DHF funded ? Or vote in the witnesses who are against DHF funding . It’s an interesting one . Witnesses should canvas for our vote but it doesn’t really go on here. The Hive laymen need to be more assertive with their vote . One point that was made is to vote the return proposal raising the limit needed for funding . If everyone votes for this then it’s harder to get the funding . May be the only way to do this .
Unvote any witness who supports the DHF and pushes the corrupt use of funds? Likely the only way is the return. There is too much weight pushing the valueplan, a typical 1% situation as usual where all of us peons are just along for the ride while the bus is driven off a cliff. Every system that humans create only goes to mimic the bullshit we are trying to move away from, like greed, power, control, inequality, etc.
Value plan waste would make even the government proud.

Thanks for mentioned me. I've been asked to make editing from the events from WRC rally event this has been edited on ad-hoc basis for several days, my editing team deliver job as agreed (same day editing). SATURDAY & SUNDAY
For that We've prepared 2 videos of highlights + 2 Videos in Vertical version for various social media. That also included ad-hoc editor on the site during the weekend.
I use my personal money as a gate to exchange HBD, all HBD received stays in the system
