Since it's only a couple days from Christmas Eve I am putting this one up as my playlist for today. This was my favorite Christmas record when I was ten years old and I still really enjoy listening to it.
It was released in November 1971. It was their fourth studio album and became the best-selling Christmas album in the United States that year topping the Billboard Christmas Albums chart for all four weeks it was published.
One of the factors that led to its success was the original song "My Christmas Card to You." It was a sweet and sentimental ballad sung by David Cassidy that became a fan favorite and added a personal touch to the album.
