Yes indeed, same thing here, I mined monero before, but then fried the old laptop before I even made enough for a payout :-D

Well, it was fun, but very frustrating indeed! Luckily less frustrating than the meetings, so I continued :-) And it worked! Running smoothly now for a few days, without rising temperatures or anything. It's running at about 65% of (unsustainable) max, but the projected earning are at about 10$/month or so :-D
