Found this on X, which is sourcing a post on sacra.com and think this is really remarkable! We are talking about 3k billion dollars, $3.000.000.000.000 transaction volume per quarter that Visa is clearing. Stable coins could reach more than 4k billion dollars, transcending Visa by +30%.
Reasons why
There is mainly two reasons for the growing popularity of stable coins. One is the low transaction costs for sending money around and the secondly the high level of convenience they provide. You don’t have to deal with complicated money wiring via several banks abroad or pay high fees to send some money let’s say from Europe to South America or Asia. Life is global, but money does not reflect that in some ways yet. Cryptocurrencies provide a solution here. Stable coins in particular avoid volatility vs fiat since they are tied to fiat currency lile the dollar.

Insbesondere Stable coins vermeiden Volatilität im Vergleich zu Fiat-Währungen, da sie an Fiat-Währungen wie den Dollar gebunden sind.

Nunja Stablecoins werden eher so oft versendet nicht weil dies Länder übergreifend ist sondern weil damit getradet wird.
In vielen Ländern müssen erst Steuern für ein trade bezahlt werden wenn die trades in fiat abgewickelt werden. Trading unter Kryptowährungen ist meist steuerfrei.
